Jesus' Resurrection
The numbers Numerics Gematria assure believers of Jesus' resurrection. And the resurrection in itself confirms the entire principle of forgiveness. Jesus would not have risen from the dead if his sacrifice for sin did not work.
Two text segments in Mark 16 were found with the computer scan previously described. The first only involves the initial two verses of the chapter, covering the identities of the women who visited Jesus' tomb. The second (covering verses 6 to 9) is actually an incomplete sentence. But their close proximity calls for a more detailed scan of the entire chapter. This reveals a large text segment which is complete in thought and covers most of the resurrection account.
The Witnesses
Three women went to the tomb on the first day of the week. Mary Magdalene is not included in the numeric section because she appears in the next section where the other two women do not. (It is interesting that the numbers Numerics Gematria create two sections in effect producing two witnesses.)
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. And very early on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun had risen. (Mark 16:1-2)1
Take out the first eight words in verse 1. For the numbers Numerics Gematria, the fact that the sabbath was past is not necessary since verse 2 makes the timing clear.

The Resurrection Of Jesus
This large text segment covers the most important resurrection events.
And very early on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun had risen. And they were saying to one another,Who will roll away the stone for us from the door of the tomb? And looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back; -- it was very large. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe; and they were amazed. And he said to them,Do not be amazed; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen, he is not here; see the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you.And they went out and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them; and they said nothing to any one, for they were afraid.
Now when he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept. But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it.
After this he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country. And they went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them.
Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they sat at table; and he upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. (Mark 16:2-14)
- It was a Sunday.
- Someone had rolled away the heavy stone sealing the tomb.
- A
young man
or angel in white met three women inside the tomb. - They were told Jesus of Nazareth had risen.
- They saw the tomb was empty.
- They were told to tell the disciples, especially Peter.
- Jesus would meet them in Galilee.
- They became afraid and said nothing to anyone.
- Jesus later appeared to Mary.
- Mary told the grieving disciples.
- They did not believe her.
- Jesus appeared to two disciples who were walking in the country.
- The two went to tell the others, but again were disbelieved.
- Jesus appeared to eleven disciples.
- Jesus chided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart.
It took an angel, and Jesus appearing to Mary before she was convinced and impelled to alert the disciples. Her hesitation, and the silence of the other two women is understandable given the chauvinist attitudes of men. Sadly, no one believed her.
Jesus appeared to two of his disciples. They too were disbelieved. He finally had to appear to eleven of them to convince them.
Jesus called the people of his times faithless
and perverse
(Matthew 17:17). Here he called his own disciples unbelieving and hardhearted. He did not call them perverse. He never asked for for credulous believers. God doesn't want credulous believers either (Psalm 34:8; Isaiah 1:18). Simple minded or credulous people will end up being led astray (2 Timothy 3:6).
Three years under Jesus' tutelage, seeing miracles, doing miracles, and seeing Jesus raise the dead was meant to expand the spiritual horizons of the disciples. They were supposed to know that someone who could raise the dead was capable of raising himself. This is what Jesus upbraided them for.
ωνειδισεν (G3679 oneidezo From G3681; to defame, that is, rail at, chide, taunt: - cast in teeth, (suffer) reproach, revile, upbraid.)4 is only used once in the GNS. In the Septuagint, Judges 5:18, the same word is used this way, people reproached their soul to death
.5 One might say Jesus was getting frustrated with the limited spiritual capacity of his disciples. (How much more would Jesus be turned away by a faithless and perverse
generation?)

It is interesting that the last verses of Mark 16, concerning the Great Commission
, are not included in the numbers Numerics Gematria. The Great Commission is contingent on the resurrection being true. There would be no Great Commission without the resurrection. Thus the numbers Numerics Gematria highlight the fact of the resurrection.
Numeric Features
Primary Features
(Derived from Revelation 1:8 and grouped for easy reference.)
A.1Numeric total: 55503 = 3 x 3 x 7 x 881. (See feature 3.)
A.4Number of words: 182 = 2 x 7 x 13. (See feature 2.)
A.5Number of letters: 1008 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 7. (See feature 4.)
B.4Every other letter (odd): 29715 = 3 x 5 x 7 x 283. (See feature 7.1.)
B.4.2Every other letter (even): 25788 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 7 x 307. (See feature 7.2.)
C.2First and last verses: 9226 = 2 x 7 x 659. (See feature 1.1.)
C.3.2First and last letter of each word: 17780 = 2 x 2 x 5 x 7 x 127. (See feature 9.3.)
D.3.3First letter of each word: 7623 = 3 x 3 x 7 x 11 x 11. (See feature 9.1.)
E.2.2Last word of each verse: 4403 = 7 x 17 x 37. (See feature 1.4.)
E.3.3Last letter of each word: 10157 = 7 x 1451. (See feature 9.2.)
G.4.2Second third of the letters: 21560 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 7 x 7 x 11. (See feature 4.1.)
Verse Features
1.1First and last verse: 9226 = 2 x 7 x 659. (This would be the first and thirteenth verse. 1 + 13 = 14 (2 x 7).)
1.1.1Verses not first or last: 46277 = 7 x 11 x 601.
1.2The only other pair would be the fifth and fifth last (i.e. the 9th verse): 8764 = 2 x 2 x 7 x 313.
1.2.1The 1st, 13th, 5th and 19th verse positions add up to 28 (2 x 2 x 7). Interestingly, 1, 5, 9 and 13 are numbers that are all equally spaced apart by four.
1.3Five of the verses are divisible by 7. Their sum together: 22848 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 7 x 17. This was expected, but the sum of the factors is something else: 39 = 3 x 13.
1.4Last word of each verse: 4403 = 7 x 17 x 37.

10Total of the positions of letters that are not first or last: 332319 = 3 x 13 x 8521.
11Six Greek letters have the word positions where they first and last appear adding up to sums divisible by 7. The letters are 4, 7, 100, 200, 300 and 600. The total of these letters: 1211 = 7 x 173.
12Two letters have the word totals where they first and last appear adding up to sums divisible by 7. The letters are 6 and 8. 6 + 8 = 14 = 2 x 7.
13The Greek alphabet can be divided equally into two lists with values 30 and under and values 40 and over.
13.1546 letters in the passage have values 30 and under. 546 = 2 x 3 x 7 x 13.
13.2462 letters in the passage have values 40 and up. 462 = 2 x 3 x 7 x 11.
14.1Use the factors from the number of words/letters to extract a set sequence from the words or letters.
14.1.2Beginning with the first word, pull every 26th word after: 2436 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 7 x 29.
14.1.3Beginning with the 26the word, pull every 26th word after: 2353 = 13 x 181.
14.2Use the factors from the number of letters to pull sequences from the letters.
14.2.1Every third letter: 17339 = 7 x 2477.
14.2.2Every seventh letter: 7161 = 3 x 7 x 11 x 31. SF: 52 = 2 x 2 x 13.
14.2.3Beginning with the first letter, pull every 18th after: 3588 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 13 x 23.
14.2.4Beginning with the first letter, pull every 21 after: 1610 = 2 x 5 x 7 x 23.
14.2.5Every 28th letter: 1976 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 13 x 19.
14.2.6Letters from 1 to 1008 every 36: 1651 = 13 x 127. SF: 140 = 2 x 2 x 5 x 7.
14.2.7Every 36th letter: 1603 = 7 x 229.
14.3Start with the first word, and pull every 91 words after: 749 = 7 x 107.
Conclusion
The fact of the resurrection is one of the greatest comforts for the believer. This world is not all that there is. There is hope. Death is not the end.
