The Great Multitude
After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb!" And all the angels stood round the throne and round the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, (Revelation 7:9-11)1

When believers look around themselves, they see corruption in high places, nations in disorder or at war, rising violence and crime, financial hardship, food insecurity, chemical contamination, an ocean filled with garbage and plastic, and global warming exacerbating climate change. It is an exact fulfillment of the end times in the book of Revelation (Revelation 11:18). Added to this is the warning about the seven churches in the beginning chapters of the book; believers should not trust churches. It is a very depressing picture.
God knows our fears. The vision of Revelation tells us to look up and beyond. Praise is one antidote to depression (Lamentations 3:22, Revelation 4:8-10). The other is to understand that God’s plan continues no matter what might be happening here. There is (or will be) a magnificent multitude of believers in heaven. It is something to look forward to, and it is something to long for.
The numbers Numerics Gematria of this passage give added emphasis to the text of Revelation 7:9-11. They are a reminder that believers should not lose sight of this goal. Even though the numbers Numerics Gematria end before verse 11 this does not negate or detract from the verses that follow. The rest of chapter seven is meant for encouragement and comfort.
I said to him,Sir, you know.And he said to me,These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night within his temple; and he who sits upon the throne will shelter them with his presence. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.(Revelation 7:14-17)
Four words have been dropped from the beginning of verse 9, and five from the end of verse 11. If these words were included, there would be no numeric features.3

Conclusion
It should not be surprising that there aren't many Primary Features as in other passages. This passage is about the great multitude of believers at the end. It is not about God or Jesus. No new spiritual revelation/teaching is presented. Nevertheless, what features are present, are an additional confirmation of God’s glorious promise. Despite what we see around us today, and despite how it may seem we are all alone, there is a future where God’s people will stand joyfully together. They will be innumerable.
