FIRST LOOKS

1.The numeric total of the passage is 6174 (2 x 3 x 3 x 7 x 7 x 7). There are three factors of 7 (a 1 in 343 chance).

1.1The factors could have been rearranged into just two factors by grouping the sevens together. 343 x 18 or 686 x 9. The 343 and 686 are symmetrical. The same digit is first and last, symbolizing the unchanging God who is, was and is to come who is also beginning and end. All this ties in with Revelation 1:8. In the first case, the first two digits (3 and 4) and the last two digits (4 and 3) both add up to 7. In the second case, the first two digits of 686 and the last two digits both add up to 14 (7 x 2).

1.2The place values total 1269 (3 x 3 x 3 x 47). This is not divisible by 7, but the sum of the factors (henceforth abbreviated as SF) is 56 (7 x 2 x 2 x 2 and again SF:13). 1269's chain of factors ends with 13, a factor of the Divine Name.

1.3The sum in 1.2 could also have been rewritten into another symmetrical factor: 141 x 9. Symmetrical factors pop up throughout the proof. The first and second digits don't add up to a multiple of 7, but we do see the 1 God at the beginning and end of the number.

1.4There are no features with the first word (Alpha): 317. This is a prime number. The last word (Omega) has a total of 322 (2 x 7 x 23), matching the reason given previously in Revelation 1:8.

Just a cursory glance at the numbers reveals only a few results. But there is much more than meets the eye. To find real spectacular numeric results, we examine Revelation 1:8 phrase by phrase for possible instructions and help.

I AM

2.We begin with the very beginning of Revelation 1:8. In Exodus 3:14 God said, I am that I am. I am indicates He is in the present, the God of each instance in time. The present is measured by going through it. This is the reason behind feature 1. Adding up the letters is the first rule for discovering numeric features.

Revelation 1:8 has two forms of the present tense: I am and is. The numbers Numerics Gematria in Exodus also has two ways of demonstrating God being continually present.

2.1To see this principle in Exodus, we begin with the very first letter and take every other letter after. This would be all the letters in odd positions.

The odd positioned letters can be divided into groups of four. There would be six groups that are odd valued, which together are divisible by seven, and nine groups that are even valued which together are divisible by seven.

Two of the factors are symmetrical 11's, pointing to the one God at the beginning and at the end. These factors could also have been written as 121 x 28 (a second symmetrical number).

The sum of the factors is also symmetrical: 33 (coincidentally equal to the number of words in the passage).

2.2But God is not just God every odd second. He is God every even second. Since the entire passage (6174) is divisible by 7, and all the letters in odd positions are also divisible by 7 (3388), this means all even positioned letters are also divisible by 7. Together, all this shows God is eternally present.

6174 - 3388 = 2786 (199 x 7 x 2).

There are 59 letters in the even positions of the passage. This is a prime number and cannot be subdivided into equal groups. Dividing the list further into odd and even positions produces nothing. However, grouping the letters by odd and even values produces something.

Unlike the odd positioned letters, this goes no further.

2.2.1The sum of the factors is 208. And by chance(?) 208 = 13 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2. 13 is a factor of the Divine Name in Hebrew. Thus the number 208 points back to God.

2.2.2The sum of 208's factors is 21, which again just happens to be divisible by 7. This too leads us back to God.

2.2.3Going further, with the sum of 21's factors, which is 10 (the first letter of the Divine Name), we factor it into 5 x 2. 5 + 2 = 7.

(When the techniques in 2.1 are applied to all the even positioned letters of the passage, they do not yield any feature of 7 or 13. Why? Although the same God is present at each moment, we cannot expect everything else to be exactly the same. The same idea applies to the numbers Numerics Gematria. The second reason is that using the results to find more features is one level removed from using the rule itself. It should not be expected that moving away from the rule should work as well as the rule itself.)

2.3.1.1The rule I am can be combined with the principle beginning and end (see below). The letter after the beginning of each word is a new beginning (i.e. each instant is a new beginning). Add up the second letters of each word (in some cases this would be the last letter):

2.3.1.2As noted above, sometimes the second letter is the last letter of the word. These letters could be eliminated on the principle that they belong to the last letter of the word. The list changes only slightly:

(What about the third letter of each word? Does this continue into a grand pattern? Unfortunately, it does not. One explanation is that this pattern cannot be extended since the shortest word in the passage consists of 2 letters. Four words in the passage have no third letter. There is another explanation. These features are part of another principle from Revelation 1:8 [see below].)

2.4The opposites of first and last combined give rise to the idea of interchanging the two. The letters that were first, are now last, and the letters that were last are now first. Mathematically, nothing else changes. But if we shift all the letters forward by one position, and move the first letter to the last position, this is entirely different. The first letter is now the last letter, and the second letter of each word is now the first letter.

2.4.1First shift.

ALPHA & OMEGA I am the Alpha and the Omega...

Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. The Hebrew equivalent of Alpha is clearly Aleph, but there is no equivalent for Omega. If Alpha and Omega are applied to the Hebrew, this phrase in Revelation must refer just to the alphabet. According to alphabets, the Hebrew equivalent of Alpha and Omega is Aleph and Tav. This establishes the second rule of what to look for in Exodus 34:6-7. We look for Aleph, and Tav. And since we are using the concept of alphabets (not numbers), we are not at this point interested in the values associated with these two letters. We look for their placement within Exodus 34:6-7.

3.1Aleph appears in these letter positions: 5 14 25 28 39 49 56 67 74 85. The sum of these positions is 442 (17 x 13 x 2). The factor of the Divine Name appears instantly.

3.2 Letter Tav appears in these words: 11 24. The sum is 35 (7 x 5).

Someone might ask, Why do you look at the letter positions, and then at the word positions? Shouldn't you be consistent? Aren't you doing this because you couldn't find the same result of 13 or 7 in both cases? In most numeric studies, there would be no answer. In this study there is a perfect reason for the difference. Alpha and Omega are two different letters. They are at opposite ends of the alphabet. There is no reason to say they should yield the exact same type of result. That they point to God (13) through the letters, or to His perfect number (7) via the words is significant. The entire purpose of an alphabet is letters and words, so either result is reasonable.

3.3 Having looked at the first and last letters separately, now consider the word and. God is Alpha And Omega. The letters Aleph and Tav reside together (and), or meet only in the eleventh and twenty-fourth words. And coincidentally, 11 + 24 = 35. 35 = 7 x 5. SF:12 = 3 x 2 x 2. SF:7. The end result is another seven.

3.4 The positions of the letters in the 11th and 24th words where Aleph and Tav meet:

The sum of the positions is 504 = 7 x 3 x 3 x 2 x 2 x 2.

3.5 The 11th and 24th words are the only two that have Aleph and Tav together. However, if we expand our search to words containing one and or the other we discover another result. The following words have one or both of the letters: 1 4 7 8 11 14 15 18 20 24. These word positions have no feature, but their word sums do. The total of these words is: 2158 = 2 x 13 x 83 SF: 98 = 2 x 7 x 7.

3.6 Here we combine Alpha & Omega with First & Last. Aleph first appears in the first word, the sum of which is 317. Tav first appears in the eleventh word, valued at 447. Aleph last appears in the 24th word, whose sum is 409. And Tav also last appears in the 24th word: 409.

The sum of these four words:
317 + 447 + 409 + 409 = 1582 = 113 x 7 x 2
SF:122 = 61 x 2          SF:63 = 7 x 3 x 3           SF:13

4. In this section Alpha and Omega referred to the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. If we bend the rule, they could refer to the first and last letters of the passage: 6 and 40.

4.1 The letter 6 appears in positions: 1 8 12 18 20 23 32 38 58 60 64 69 83 87 95 112, and the sum of the positions is 780 (13 x 5 x 3 x 2 x 2). The letter 40 appears in positions: 19 31 40 53 94 104 111 119, and the sum is 571. The positions together: 780 + 571 = 1351 = 7 x 193.

Aleph had a numeric feature in its letter positions (see 3.1), just like letter 6. However, letter 40 does not have a corresponding feature like Tav (see 3.2). Why? Aleph and Tav can stand alone because they refer to letters of the Hebrew alphabet, and letters of the alphabet can stand by themselves. Letters 6 and 40 must stand together because their only relation is that they are part of the same verse (Exodus 34:6-7).

4.2.1Total of words: 4445 (5 x 7 x 127).

4.2.2There are 21 words (7 x 3).

4.2.3Twelve words do not have either letter 6 or letter 40. These remaining words have the sum 1729 (6174 - 4445). And 1729 = 19 x 13 x 7. The sum of 1729’s factors is 39, which is again divisible by 13.

4.3 These two letters (first and last) meet or are adjacent to each other in the following positions: 19 & 20, 31 & 32, 111 & 112. The sum of these positions is 325 = 5 x 5 x 13.

4.4 We apply the technique in 2.1 (I Am, present tense) to the results in 4.2 (Alpha & Omega). Beginning with the first item in the list above, and taking every other:

4.4.1There are 11 words (one God at the beginning and end).

4.4.2Total of the words: 2996 = 2 x 2 x 7 x 107.

4.4.3This means the remaining words are also divisible by 7:

4.5 Finally, the letters 6 and 40 may also be taken together. Their sum is 46.

4.5.1The sum of all letters, from 1 to 46: 2261 (7 x 17 x 19).

4.5.2The sum of all letters, from 47 to the end: 3913 (7 x 13 x 43, SF:68 = 7 x 3 x 3, SF:13).

5.What else might Alpha and Omega refer to? Since this is about God, it could refer to the Divine Name. The first and last letters of the Divine Name are 10 and 5.

5.1Words containing both letters 10 and 5:

The sum of the word positions yield no features. Nevertheless, there are 13 words with one or more of the two letters.

5.2 The Divine Name consists of four letters (10-5-6-5). The above feature looked at its first and last letters. What about the two middle letters 5 and 6? We search for all words containing the letters 5 and 6.

Notice how the further the rule Alpha & Omega is bent, the fewer the numeric features, even when we appeal to another rule, or use the Divine Name. If everything was due to random odds, this would not be so. The results confirm numeric features are to be found by following Revelation 1:8’s instructions.

6.Finally, Alpha & Omega could refer to the first and last words of the passage. These two words have the numeric sums of 317 and 322. Only a difference of five separates the two numbers.

6.1From the beginning, taking every fifth word after the first word:

The sum is 693 (11 x 7 x 3 x 3).

6.2From the end, take every fifth word before the last word:

Why stop only with three words from the beginning or end? Because the two lists will overlap and interlace if they are continued. The beginning is no longer the beginning once it passes the midway point.

Moving to the next part of Revelation 1:8, we apply the beginning & end to God's proclamation.

The four basic math operations all produce numeric features with the beginning and end letters of each word. Each mathematical operation is different, just as the beginning and end are different. And so also are the techniques used for each. Some point to letters, and some to words.

The features above may not have exhausted all the possibilities of THE BEGINNING AND THE END, but they show how extensive just one principle from Revelation 1:8 can be. (See: Alpha & Omega for more features when beginning and end are understood as first and last.)

8.The preceding feature used results (the factors) from the rules of Revelation 1:8 to derive new features. There is a major factor not included in feature 7. This is the factor 1. Five of the six main sums from the passage produce new letter totals divisible by 7. Only 7.5 does not yield a feature of 7 or 13. Nevertheless, the number 11 (one God, beginning and end) appears. Can all this be due to coincidence?

9.Since the entire passage is divisible by 7, and the first and last letters of each word are all divisible by 7 (see: feature 7), this automatically means what remains in the centre is also divisible by 7. But why doesn't the second digit of the word sums stand on its own like the second letter of each word? The word sum is the result of many letters. Its value does not relate to the actual text like a letter. Many words can have the same value. Each letter only has one value, and thus a letter or its value can stand on its own. As a result, the second digit of the word sums requires something else.

10.2Add up the first and last digits of the letters. Where a letter value has only one digit, this is its first and last digit, and it is recorded twice.

Why would the last segment not have a feature immediately visible? It is because the segment wraps around to the beginning of the passage. It is unique among the four segments.

12.The previous features focus attention on specific points in the declaration. But God is not just focused on specific points. He goes beyond the beginning and end. The beginning letter of each word can sometimes be found in the next word (i.e. the word to come). The end letter of each word can at times be found in the previous word (i.e. the word that was). This also produces numeric features.

(Example: The first letter of the first word is 6. If the letter 6 is found in the next word, record the letter found, and its position in the passage. If the letter 6 appears twice in the next word, take the second appearance. Repeat for each of the 33 words.

Of the five features above, four of them contain a factor of 13. The only one that doesn't is feature 12.4. Coincidentally enough, feature 12.4 consists of looking for the first or last letter in a word 13 positions away. In essence, the 13 is built into it.

It is interesting that the searches before and after a word for that particular word's first or last letter with the most factors of 7 also have the factor (or number) 13. As seen before, 1, 7, 13 and 26 are all associated with God. (When we try the above exercise for the first letter of each word in any of the other succeeding words, we find only odds.)

To summarize: there are 24 totals, of which 12 have factors of 7 (not including the totals that factor into several 7s). At the least, this is three times greater than one would expect from the odds. This shows the relationship between beginning and end along with the numbers 1, 7, 13 and 26.

13.The word at the beginning has the sum 317. The words below all have at least two of the digits of 317.

At first glance, List B by itself produces no features. However combined with List A, it gives a sum divisible by 7: 624 + 1301 = 1925 (11 x 7 x 5 x 5, SF:28 = 7 x 2 x 2, SF:11).

But the result (1301) in List B is not exactly a numeric failure. 1301 is the fifth prime number to be sandwiched between a number divisible by 13, and a number divisible by 7 (1300 and 1302). It is the second prime number easily recognized as being related to 13 and when we check further, related to 7. The first prime number, is of course is 701. Note the symmetry. 701 is preceded by a number divisible by 7, and followed by a number divisible by 13. 1301 is preceded by a number divisible by 13, and followed by a number divisible by 7.

Is this all coincidence? It just so happens that 1301 as a word position in the Exodus proclamation points to the 14th word (sum of 191), and as a letter position points to the 111st letter 40. 191 plus 40 is 231 (11 x 7 x 3, SF:21 = 7 x 3, SF:10 = 5 x 2, SF:7). 1301 as a position in Revelation 1:8, points to the 10th word (sum of 60), and the 59th letter 70. 60 + 70 = 130. In summary, applying Revelation 1:8 directly to Exodus 34:6b-7 yields a result that can be re-used in both verses.

14.1.7There are two main versions of the Greek New Testament. The one associated with the King James Bible is the Textus Receptus. The main Greek text closest to the Textus Receptus is the one from Scrivener, usually indicated as GNS. A deeper search for features with the GNS yields inconsistent results. The GNT appears to give more numeric features. Does this mean the GNS is inferior? No. The lack of features actually helps fill in the whole picture when the GNS is taken along with the GNT.

Both the word values in the GNS and GNT of Revelation 1:8 can be applied directly to Exodus. This is reinforced by the direct application of the letters from the GNS. The letters of the GNT fail, although it succeeds elsewhere with other features based on the words. All this places extra emphasis on the words. The solitary application of the GNS letters again underscores the direct use of information from Revelation 1:8. In summary, the numbers Numerics Gematria instruct us to use the words in the most straightforward way.

If we take Alpha, Omega, beginning, end, first and last as a poetic way of saying the same thing, we misconstrue the actual meaning of each individual word, and miss the numeric instructions. Manipulation of the data in Revelation 1:8 might give us more numeric features in Exodus, but this again hides the meaning of the words of Revelation. If we ignore Revelation 1:8 altogether, we can dream up any number of techniques to search for numeric features in the proclamation, but we lose sight of God's specific and unique attributes. In essence, this confirms that the strict meaning of the words of Revelation 1:8 are the basis for finding features in Exodus 34:6b-7.

14.2Returning to the GNT, of the 21 letter positions in List A, eleven also match the first letter position of a word in Exodus 34:6b-7: 1 10 14 19 20 25 31 32 37 42 45. The sum of these positions is 276.

And of the 21 letter positions in List B, fifteen match the last letter position of a word in Exodus: 9 13 16 19 24 31 35 38 41 42 44 47 48 57 69. The sum is 533 = 41 x 13.

In 14.1.1, List A produced a feature while List B did not. Here the opposite occurs, with List A featureless, and List B with a sum divisible by 13. (In this case, though, List A and List B together do not produce an additional feature.)

14.3One letter words in Revelation 1:8 are unique, since they appear in both Lists A and B: 19 31 36 42 48 58 (The sum is 234 = 13 x 3 x 3 x 2 SF:21 = 7 x 3).

14.4From List A, only three positions are divisible by 7: 14 42 49. In Exodus, these three positions point to letters 1, 50 and 1. The sum of which is 52 (13 x 2 x 2).

From List B, again only three positions are divisible by 7: 7 35 42. And in Exodus, these three point to letters 5, 8, and 50. The sum of the letters is 63 (7 x 3 x 3 SF:13).

16.This feature clearly shows how the principle of Beginning and End applies in Exodus 34:6-7.

There are two ways of reading Beginning and End. You can start from the beginning of the Exodus proclamation, or you can start from the end of Exodus. This does not mean reading Exodus in reverse with the idea of reversing the entire meaning of the proclamation. (This is not superstitious magic.) Science defines the universe in various dimensions. These dimensions are not reversible, but you can travel them in either direction. Human beings tend to function in one direction (i.e. we grow old), and we think in one direction (from start to finish). This limitation is clearly shown when the full results of our work are not what we wanted or intended.

God is not like this at all. He can start at the end, and progress towards the beginning. Seeing both at the same time in complete detail prevents unintended consequences. All His works are perfect and great.

What is very interesting is that the feature below is structured with our limitations in mind. It is very easy to just read Revelation 1:8 and actually see the principle of taking the beginning and end letters of each word. The first and last letters of each word are still last or first whether we read the proclamation from left to right, or right to left. We can't make a mistake here.

This changes when we strictly apply direction and look at the positions of the first and last letters of each word. Normally we begin at the beginning and number the letter positions from there. When we add up these positions for the first letter of each word, we don't get any numeric features. Nor do the positions of the last letter of each word produce anything. If one or both of the sums of the positions had produced anything, we would have stopped and not gone any further. In doing so, we would fail to grasp one of God’s characteristics. To obtain any result, we have to change our thinking, and change direction. When we change direction, we change how we number the letter positions.

(Skeptics naturally say, All right, the first and last letters worked out. Fine. If God had designed these verses like this, he would have ensured the positions came out with something too. Surely he's smart enough to be able to do that. But you can't find anything in the positions. This means it was all coincidence.

How wrong they are. There are features in the positions of the letters. To find them, Revelation 1:8 just has to be applied more creatively.)

16.1.1When counting from the beginning, the sum of the positions of the first letters of each word is 1971 (3 x 3 x 3 x 73). Also when counting from the beginning, the sum of the positions of the last letters of each word is 2057 (11 x 11 x 17). Although the positions of the first letters of each word yield nothing, the positions of the last letters produce two elevens symbolizing the one God from beginning to end. The sum of the factors of 2057 equal 39 (13 x 3), pointing to the Divine Name.

16.1.2When counting from the end, the sum of the positions of the first letters of each word is 1989 (3 x 3 x 13 x 17). And again from the end, the sum of the positions of the last letters of each word is 1903 (11 x 173). In counting from the end, both positions of first and last produce features. The positions of the first letters have the factor 13, and the positions of the last letters again have a factor of eleven.

16.1.3We look further.

Case 1.
From the beginning (first & last):
1971 + 2057 = 4028 = 2 x 2 x 19 x 53.

Case 2.
From the beginning (first), from the end (first):
1971 + 1989 = 3960 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 5 x 11.

From the beginning (first), from the end (last):
1971 + 1903 = 3874 = 2 x 13 x 149.

Case 4.
From the beginning (last), from the end (first):
2057 + 1989 = 4046 = 2 x 7 x 17 x 17.

Case 5.
From the beginning (last), from the end (last):
2057 + 1903 = 3960 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 5 x 11.

Cases 2 and 5 start with different numbers, but end with the same sum 3960. The 11 in 3960's factors points to the one God beginning and end. The sum of the factors is 28 (7 x 2 x 2), and the sum of the factors of 28 return to 11.

Cases 3 and 4 combine alternating beginning and end with alternating first and last. Case 3 produces a factor of 13, and case 4 produces a factor of 7. This is not coincidental. God deliberately constructed this feature so we would have to consider a different beginning (from the end) in order to find it. And at the same time, to ensure we would not mistake who arranged this, He included the first and last.

The next numeric feature reinforces this idea.

16.2The first part of Revelation 1:8 lists three characteristics that might actually be the one and same thing. To demonstrate they are different only requires a shift in thinking. Alpha and Omega are letters, and their order denotes alphabetical sequence. But it is clear no sentence or word is by itself in alphabetical order. Thus the Alpha and Omega is not the actual beginning and end, or first and last of a passage.

The original Hebrew text had no spaces between the words. Spaces were added later for readability. Spaces do not change the text, but they do change the position of the letters and words. Extra positions (spaces) make the beginning and end of a passage independent of the actual first and last letters.

This table shows the entire proclamation, but with a space inserted between each word, and spaces at the very beginning and end. These spaces are given numbered positions. Two methods of counting positions are used, one including the space before the verse, and one omitting that space. Reverse positions run beneath the letters. Everything depends on your perspective, and how you count.

Out of twelve results, four are divisible by seven (with one result being divisible by 49). This is twice what normally would be expected if this was just due to the mathematical odds. And of these twelve results, two are divisible by 13. Slightly more than the odds.

16.3Combine the principle I AM (feature 2.1), with the table above in 16.2. I AM refers to present tense, and in feature 1.1, we saw how you could move moment by moment through the present and skip letters in the passage. The same principle is applied here. 16.4Alpha and Omega can also be applied in four different ways, depending on the direction. (For these features, we return to the original format of the numbers, without spaces between the words.)

Method 1: From the beginning of the Exodus passage, search for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet (in sequence), and note its position. If a letter of the Hebrew alphabet is not found, continue from the last position found for the next Hebrew letter.

Method 2: From the beginning of the Exodus passage, search for the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and work towards the beginning of the alphabet.

Method 3: From the end of the Exodus verse, search for the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

Method 4: From the end of the Exodus proclamation, search for the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet and work towards the beginning of the alphabet.

Out of four results, two are divisible by seven, and one is divisible by 13.

The positions of these letters did not have numeric features before, but now they do. It's not 100% successful all the time, but the number of features is higher than the odds would suggest. It is as if God wanted us to consider a change in how we think in order to find them. And it is as if He had anticipated the addition of empty spaces to His word. Thus far, the meaning of Revelation 1:8 coincides beautifully with Exodus 34:6-7's numbers.

FIRST AND LAST

First and last are separate and distinct from beginning and end. Beginning and end referred to the beginning and end letters of each word. The word first can be taken two ways: as a number (magnitude), or as the first in appearance. The numeric features in this section look at the value of the letters, or where they appear first and last.

17.In terms of magnitude, letter values can be highest or lowest. The highest and lowest letter values of each word can be grouped together just like the beginning and end letters of each word.

(Where there is more than one letter which is highest or lowest, only the first occurrence is recorded. e.g. second word 10-5-6-5, only the first '5' is recorded.)

17.1Out of 8 sums, we would expect just one to be divisible by 7 [the odds], but we find three! And one of them is divisible by 49, which gives a total of four factors of 7.

17.2In terms of magnitude, the highest valued letter in each word (line C) plus the lowest (line E) would be equivalent to the first and last:
4189 + 214 = 4403 = 7 x 17 x 37 (each factor has the digit 7 in it).

17.3The position of the highest valued letter in each word (line B) plus the lowest (line B2): 2008 + 2009 = 4017 = 13 x 103 x 3 (three factors each have a digit 3 for the God who is, was and is to come). The sum of the factors is
119 (17 x 7) pointing to the total number of letters in the proclamation.

17.4The position within each word of the highest (line A) plus the lowest (line A2): 70 + 71 = 141. There are no factors of 7 or 13, but the sum begins with a one and ends with a one, pointing to the one God from beginning to end.

Only the place values (lines D and F) produce no features.

17.5The first and last can also be combined with the beginning and the end.

From the highest and lowest letter values of each word, we have now generated a total of ten lines, with corresponding totals. If these were ten random totals, we would have expected one, or at most two to be divisible by 7. Instead, we find four which is twice expected odds.

17.7Revelation 1:8 indicates God has many attributes all in one. Combine the highest and lowest letter values of each word with their position within each word. The easiest way to do this would be to use the place value (the value of its position in the Hebrew alphabet), and add it to its position within the word. The highest and lowest result for each word is separated into two lists.

Combining high and low in this case produces no feature. Instead, high and low individually have to move to the next level of factors to reveal anything.

The results for 17.7 are not as good as we would like, but we have to remember high and low are opposites we thought up to replace the complementary values of first/last or beginning/end as stated in Revelation 1:8. What we develop on our own, is not the same as depending on the actual text. We should not expect our efforts to equal the original.

18.Feature 17 examined the highest and lowest valued letters of each word, disregarding where these two letters might be in relation with each other. The phrase the first and the last directs us to look where these letters are next to each other. The following table lists the highest and lowest letters of each word.

18.3.1The sum of the positions within the words for the first letter is 49 (7 x 7).

18.3.2Mirroring feature 18.3.1, the sum of the positions within the words for the second letter found is 77 (11 x 7). The eleven points back to the God of the beginning and the end.

It would have been nice if lines E and H individually were divisible by 7 exactly like the letters at the beginning and end of each word (features 2 and 3), but nothing says they have to. The results are not the same because the beginning and the end is different from the first and the last.

19.1There is another way demonstrating magnitude along with God being present every instant. Divide the passage into pairs of letters. Within each pair, separate high from low.

19.1.1The sum of the letters have no feature, but the sum of the positions do. Both lists produce sums divisible by 7. These features show just how deep God is into every instant (the one who is). Truly God is present every instant in time.

No similar feature appears from the list of the lowest letters of each pair. This emphasis on the high list reminds us of the phrase in the Bible where God is called The Most High.

19.1.5The same can be done with the words. Pair up the words. Record the highest word of each pair in one list, and the lowest of the pair in a separate list. The last word will have no pair and thus is automatically included in the list of high words.

19.2.1At first, there don't seem to be any features here except for the sum of line d). However, in this case, the sum of the high and low letters together is 3339 (7 x 3 x 53). The sum of the factors is 63 (7 x 3 x 3). And the sum of these factors is 13.

19.2.2Similar to feature 2 above, the highest and lowest in sections of 7 letters also illustrate the God who is. Beginning with the first in line b) and taking every other after: 200 200 200 200 300 100 400 70 200. The sum is 1870 (2 x 5 x 11 x 17 SF:35 = 7 x 5). The number 11 by itself does not seem very significant until we see what happens in line d.

19.2.3From the list above, select only those where the highest and lowest letters meet. In other words, where they are next to each other.

These features dealt with first and last as magnitude. Now we consider the first and last as positions, or when certain letters appear.

21.1Letter 6 is the first letter in the passage. It is also a letter in the Divine Name. The letters 1, 8, 50, and 400, when added individually to 6, produce sums divisible by 7.

21.2Two other letters share the same characteristics with the letter 6: 20, and 300. When either number is added to 1, 8, 50 or 400, the resulting sum is divisible by 7. The three letters together (6, 20, 300) are related according to their positions in the passage.

Beginning at the very beginning (zero), add 1. This is the first position in the passage, and the letter in this position is 6. Naturally, this is the very first time 6 appears. Add 26 (the number of the Divine Name), and the resulting position is 27. The 27th position is the very first appearance of the letter 20. Add 1 and 27 to the 27th position, and the result is 55. The letter 300 first appears in the 55th position.

21.3A similar feature exists when searching for sums divisible by 13. The letter 3 is not used in the verse. Nevertheless, 3 + 10 = 13, and 3 + 400 = 403 (31 x 13). The letters 10 and 400 are related in two ways:

Note: The letter 40 is the last letter in the passage, but it does not mirror the features above for the letter 6. Why 6 and not 40? It's not just because the beginning is different from the end, or that the first is not the same as the last. There is another reason. The letter 6 is part of the Divine Name. The letter 40 is not. Nevertheless, there are features for the last letter of the proclamation, but only in conjunction with the first letter (see next feature).

22.1The first letter is 6. Its next appearance is in position 8. List the letters from position 1 to position 8:

Of these six letter categories half of them produce totals divisible by 7. One is divisible by 13 (pointing to God’s name), and a fourth is a pseudo-feature with a symmetrical number. Once again the results are better than the odds.

23.The principle of first and last is self restricting. It can only be applied at certain points. When we do this, where certain letters first appear, which word they appear in, and the number of letters in these words, are all related. They also contain numeric features.

24.1.1The first pair of (consecutive) letters whose sum together is divisible by seven is 8 and 6 in positions 17 and 18. 17 + 18 = 35 (7 x 5).

24.1.2The last pair of letters whose sum together is divisible by seven is 400 and 6 in positions 87 and 88. 88 + 87 = 175 (7 x 5 x 5).

24.1.3Add up the positions of the first of each pair: 938 = 67 x 7 x 2.

24.2.1The first pair of letters (feature 24.1.1) resides in the 5th word with numeric value 254. The last pair of letters (feature 24.1.2) is in the 24th word, with a sum of 409. 254 + 409 = 663 (17 x 13 x 3).

24.2.2The 5th word has four letters in positions 16 17 18 and 19. The 24th word has four letters in positions 85 86 87 and 88. The sum of the eight positions together: 416 (2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 13).

25.4.2The grand total of positions first and last (25.1 and 25.2), 2144, has no features, until its factors are considered (2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 67). The sum of the factors is 77 (7 x 11). The perfect one God is shown with the beginning and end.

25.5.1Sum of the letters where their first appearance is in an odd position, while their last appearance is in and even position: 651 (31 x 7 x 3).

25.5.2Sum of these letters' positions (first and last appearances): 609 (29 x 7 x 3 SF: 39 = 13 x 3).

Three letters in the list above show no last position. This is because they appear only one time in the verse. The letters are 9, 20, and 90. (Coincidentally, the sum of these three letters is equal to the number of letters in the passage and factors 7 x 17.) The numbers above treat first and last as separate and different, but it could be argued first AND last are supposed to be together. In this case, the first appearance of these three letters is their last appearance. (See next feature.)

25.5.3Treating the first appearance as the last for letters 9, 20, and 90, changes the sum of line (b) to: 1760 (2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 11). The number 11 refers to the one God, and the sum of the factors is 26, the number of the Divine Name.

The grand total is now 2280 (2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 5 x 19), which again appears to give us nothing. However, the sum of the factors is 33 (3 x 11). 33 is the number of words in the passage, and the eleven again points to God. Finally, 33 = 3 x 11 and 3 + 11 = 14 (7 x 2).

There are fewer features in this final scenario. Even so, there are features pointing back to God.

These numeric features highlight and emphasize the importance of this passage. There is one other major concept being taught. Notice that there is only one instance of the Hebrew word אל for God.

The LORD passed before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children, to the third and the fourth generation. (Exodus 34:6-7)

In many cases where God’s name יהוה (YHWH) appears in the Bible, it is associated with the Hebrew word אלהים (Elohim; gods): יהוה אלהים. Elohim is plural. And this is usually translated in most English Bibles as LORD God. LORD capitalized stands in for the name יהוה, and Elohim is translated in the singular as God. Since Elohim is plural, this has been taken by many as a sign of God being plural, as in the theory of the Trinity. However, notice how in this very important verse where God describes Himself, He only uses the singular.

The first six words of Joshua 22:22 sheds light on the phrase יהוה אלהים (YHWH Elohim). The King James Version, and other Bibles translate the first six words as, The God of gods, the LORD. The God of gods, the LORD. Thus the phrase יהוה אלהים should actually be understood as YHWH of (the) Gods. God is singular. There is no Trinity. For more on this, see the numeric study The God of gods.

There are some other verses almost rivalling The Proclamation in Exodus 34:6-7. As The Proclamation proves God’s existence, so these verses prove Jesus' existence as the fulfillment of prophecy. Providentially, the first discovery of numeric proof for Jesus came on April 16, 2024, during Israel's war with Hamas in Gaza. The verse is Zechariah 9:12 on The Hope of Israel. This is tied in with Zechariah 9:9 prophesying Jesus' coming, and the fulfillment of that prophecy in Matthew 21:4-5. Like David making one mistake with Bathsheba (2 Samuel 12:10), so Israel rejected Jesus and thus war is the result. This really should be enough to convince you that studying the Bible is important and worth it. Numbers are infinite and can go on forever. They're not essential to your spiritual development or salvation. Don't get caught in the numbers. Reading and studying the Bible is essential. But if you insist...

  1. Every number can be factored.
     4 = 2 x 2
     31 = 31 x 1
    The number 1 could be added to any series of factors without changing the end result.
    e.g. 4 = 2 x 2 x 1 or 4 = 2 x 2 x 1 x 1 x 1 ... x 1
    In essence, any series of factors could be made to add up to multiples of 7 or 13.
    31 = 31 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1
    (The sum of factors here would be 35, which is 7 x 5.)
    
    31 = 31 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1
    (The sum of the factors would now be 39.)
    This of course is statistically meaningless. It depends on the arbitrary addition of the number 1. Nevertheless, mathematically, this demonstrates the importance of the number 1 (the one God). With God, everything turns out.
  2. The number of words in the proclamation total 33 (a symmetrical number). It could be explained this way. The first digit (3) is related to the three sets of attributes in the first part of Revelation 1:8 (Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End, First and Last). The second digit (3) refers to the second part of Revelation 1:8 (is, was and is to come).
    The number 33 factors into 11 x 3. Here we see another symmetrical number, with 2 ones. The 2 ones refer to the one God who is Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End, and or First and Last. Although there is only one 3 this time, it could refer equally to each of the digits of the number 11.
    The sum of the factors of 33 is 14, which in turn factors into 7 x 2. Seven pertains to God’s perfection. Two relates to the first and second parts of Revelation 1:8.
    The sum of the factors of 14 is 9. This factors 3 x 3. Here again the two parts of Revelation 1:8 are displayed: Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End, First and Last, along with is, was, and is to come.
    The sum of the factors of 9 is 6. This in turn breaks down into 3 x 2. These factors can refer to the three sets of attributes in the first part of Revelation 1:8, and the triple attribute in the second, or conversely to the two parts of Revelation 1:8, each with three attributes.
    The sum of the factors of 6 is 5, which is a prime number and cannot be factored. What does the number 5 refer to? We must remember where God issued these two proclamations. One was on Mt. Sinai, and the other was in heaven. Revelation 4:8 sets a glorious stage. God has four living creatures around Him. Five represents God and the four living creatures.
    From beginning to end, the number of words in the proclamation all point back to the one God. (There is no need to refer to an explanation from the theory of the Trinity.)
  3. Interesting things happen when the first and last letters of each word are combined with another principle from Revelation 1:8, the principle of odd and even.

    Find all words where the first letter is an odd number. The last letter of these words total 490 = 2 x 5 x 72. SF> 21 = 3 x 7.

    Find all words where the first letter is an even number. The last letter of these words total 1232 = 24 x 7 x 11. SF: 26 = 2 x 13.

    Now find all words where the last letter is odd. The total of these words is 1106 = 2 x 7 x 79. The total of the last letter of these words is 28 = 22 x 7.

    Continuing with the same, find all words where the last letter is even. The total of these words is 5068 = 22 x 7 x 181. The total of the last letter of these words is 1694 = 2 x 7 x 112.

    Find all words where the letters that are not first or last add to an odd value. The first letter of these words is 56 = 23 x 7. SF: 13.

    Find all words where the letters that are not first or last add to an even value. The total of the first letter of these words is 1274 = 2 x 72 x 13.
