Jesus Gives His Disciples Authority
He who hears you hears me, and he who rejects you rejects me, and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.The seventy returned with joy, saying,Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!And he said to them,I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall hurt you.(Luke 10:16-19)1
I have given you authority. The statement relates to the first verse of the chapter where Jesus sent out 70 of his followers to precede him.
This was for a specific purpose and time. It sounds open ended, especially in view of the Great Commission later (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20). But where is the authority and power today? The numbers Numerics Gematria verify the truth of the statement on authority. It can only be that believers today are not right with Jesus and not right with God.

Five words are dropped from the beginning of verse 16, removing He who hears you hears me.
The more important part is what follows. Rejecting Jesus' disciples is equivalent to rejecting him.
Nineteen words are removed from the end of verse 19. This takes away to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall hurt you.
Only the fact that Jesus gives authority remains in the numeric segment. It is almost as if the numbers Numerics Gematria are showing the current state of Christianity today where there are few if any miracles.

Conclusion
The numbers Numerics Gematria show God’s hand in the background confirming the authority Jesus granted his disciples. But Jesus is not God, the disciples are not Jesus, and believers today are not the same as the disciples back then. Today, much as we would like to claim the full authority, the few features in this passage would seem to indicate otherwise.
