Why rank the word sums? The concept of first and last is not just of when or where something appears, but also of magnitude.

Methods 63.3 and 63.4 produce no features when applied to the letters. This is to be expected since the digit appearances was originally developed from the word sums, and not from the letters.
63.6Only digit 1 and 6 appear a multiple of 11 times. 1 + 6 = 7.
64.God is the beginning and the end. This gives two principles which can be applied to the structure of the passage. The first is the Name, which represents God. Its numeric sum is 26. This can be applied to the beginning of each word in the passage. For each of the 33 words in the passage, beginning with the first letter of each word, extract 25 more letters (for a total of 26). The result is presented in this table.
64.1.1The very first column on the left would be the first letter of each word. As seen before, the sum total of the first letters is divisible by 7 (see Applying Revelation 1:8 To Exodus 34:6b-7, The Beginning and the End
, Feature 7.2).
64.1.2The next column would be the second letter of each word. As each instant in time is a new beginning
, we could expect this column's sum to be divisible by 7 as well. And it is (see I Am

64.1.3Since the shortest word in the passage consists of two letters, the third column sometimes has to borrow
a letter from the next word. Thus we do not expect the sum of the third column to be divisible by 7. And it is not.
64.2Taking note of the column totals that are divisible by 7 we find...

The six columns listed immediately above have sums divisible by 7. Out of 26 random sums, chance would say only 3, or at most 4 sums would be divisible by 7. Six sums beat the odds.
64.3.1The sum of the six columns (col #): 1 2 5 7 16 21 would be 52 (13 x 4). The total of their "sums": 10675 = 7 * 5 * 5 * 61. This is nothing special since each individual column is already divisible by 7. However, the sum of the factors is 78, and 78 factors into 13 x 3 x 2.
64.3.2Since we are using YHWH progressively through the words of the proclamation, we can apply the six column numbers as a pattern progressively through the words by counting.

A slight adjustment has to be made because rows are not columns. Normally, the count through the words begins with the first item in the pattern (row 6). However, if we shift the pattern over seven positions, the result is divisible by 7. (N.B. Shifting 1, 2, 3 ... or 6 times yields no result for the words. Only a shift of 7 works.)

65.1The grand total is 424939424. The result is a number that reads exactly the same from right to left or right to left. God is the same from beginning to end, and even in the present. It may not appear that God is at work, but He is always there.
65.2The factors of this nine digit number are also nine in number (2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 7 x 13 x 73 x 1999). The factors of 7 and 13 confirm God’s handiwork. Add the nine factors: 2102 = 2 x 1051 (SF: 1053 = 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 13 SF: 25 = 5 x 5 SF: 10 = 2 x 5 SF: 7.)

73.Our present number system is base 10. We count from 1 to 9 before adding an extra digit. From 10 we count to 99 and carry to the next place. This structure exists in the Exodus verse even though the ancient Hebrews did not have a base ten numbering system exactly like ours, and did not have Arabic numerals.

73.2343 shows the uniqueness of the single digit letter positions, and this sets the first part of the verse apart. The rest of the verse also shows God’s perfect number 3 times. The sum of the letters from 10 to 119 is 5831 (7 x 7 x 7 x 17 [every factor has the digit 7]).
Features 73.1 and 73.2 could be explained a different way. In Revelation 1:8, the unchanging God says He is Alpha and Omega
. He is beginning and end, or first and last, but He remains the same. The easiest way to illustrate Alpha and Omega being different, and yet the same, is in a circle. Any point on the circle marks a beginning and end. Exodus 34:6-7 can be laid out as a circle with the last letter next to the first. The dividing point for beginning and end is between the two divine names. This is the only part in the passage where two consecutive words are the same.
As seen before, from the actual beginning of the passage, to the end of the first divine name, the sum is 343. And from the beginning of the second divine name, to the end of the passage, the sum is 5831.
343 = 7 x 7 x 7 5831 = 17 x 7 x 7 x 7
343 is exactly one eighteenth of the entire passage.
The above pattern is very basic and quite obvious, but there are other structures in the positions of the letters.

Features 73.4 & 73.5 (immediately above) cover three of the four digits in the Divine Name (10-5-6-5). Only the digit 1 produces no feature.
The odds would seem to indicate that out of the ten digits (0-9), at most one or two of them would have produced a sum divisible by 7. The Exodus verse produced four.
73.6The number 11 is the first (and smallest) number with two identical digits. As stated before, this can be a mathematical representation of the one God from beginning to end.

Again four out of ten digits yield features. Of these four, the digit 1 also yielded a digit of 13. Previously, with the letter positions, the digit 1 produced no feature. With the letters, it does. If the digit 1 stands for the one God, wouldn't He have made the numbers Numerics Gematria show up in both cases? Perhaps God wanted to make a distinction. The positions are simply that, a place along a number line. The letters actually form words and words have meaning. It is the words that give us the proclamation, not the positions.
Two other digits yield features of 13 (a factor of the Tetragrammaton), but not features of 7.

In this feature, the name of the lord, the factors from the structure of the passage, and Revelation 1:8 all come together. If the feature applied only to the words, we might attribute this to coincidence. But it works also with the letters. Surely this means the Divine Name is written into the very structure of Exodus 34:6-7.
77.1The sum of all words ending with odd valued letters: 317 26 26 351 29 161 31 165, is 1106 = 79 x 7 x 2. This means the sum of all words ending with an even valued letter would be 6174 - 1106 = 5068 = 2 x 2 x 7 x 181.

There are a total of 39 sums calculated from the rows and columns. Random chance would indicate perhaps 5 or 6 sums divisible by 7. This chart produced 11 sums divisible by 7, almost twice the number expected.

Rows 1, 10, 11, 21, 28 and columns 1, 4, 5 are all divisible by 7. The total of the rows and columns is 81. Unlike the previous table, the rows and columns do not add up to something divisible by 7. The number of sums divisible by 7 are just slightly more than the odds.
The total of the two tables together: 10519 + 9657 = 20176 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 13 x 97.
Letter 40 is the last letter of the proclamation, but it does not have unique supporting reasons like letter 6. No word in the verse is 40 letters long. No special mathematical features appear with this number on its own. Knowing this, we can expect to find fewer numeric features when the same technique is applied to this letter.
Beginning with the first letter of each word, record a total of 40 letters. The results for each word:

Seven rows out of 33 are divisible by 7 (rows: 2, 3, 10, 18, 25, 27, 28). This is better than the odds.

The rows and columns together add up to 257 (no feature). The grand total of table 75.2.2 is 68025 (no feature).
The letter 6 has three intrinsic features: 1) It is the first letter of the proclamation. 2) It has mathematical uniqueness (see Appendix). 3) It has a relationship to the longest word in the passage. The letter 40 only has one intrinsic quality: it is the last letter of the passage. As a result, letter 6 produced more features in total than letter 40. This matches our initial expectation. But there is another parallel.
Note how the letter 6 (which is at the beginning of the passage), produced more features in the first table (counting from the beginning of each word). And note how the letter 40 (which is at the end of the verse), produced more features in the second table (working from the end of each word).
80.The features in this study confirm Exodus 34:6-7 was numerically designed. But is there another form of design
? Internet packets and cd-roms were designed to have check sums for error correction. Does the proclamation exhibit this type of design? In a way, yes. However, since this is dealing with language, it would be unreasonable to expect something very structured and in-depth as with modern computer technology.
What type of error correction
might there be? The simplest would be something that confirmed the number of letters, the number of words, or the sum total of Exodus 34:6-7. And what might the check number
be? At a guess, there would be a relationship to either the number 13 or 7.
We begin at the beginning for two reasons: 1) Revelation 1:8 and 2) The beginning and the end are the two most obvious places to put a check sum.
The declaration begins with the letter 6, and ends with the letter 40. The total is 46. And we quickly notice: 46 - 13 = 33. There are 33 words in the passage.
Now if the first and last letters confirm the words, then the first and last words might corroborate the number of letters.
The first word is 317, and the last word is 322. The total is 639. This time, 639 - 520 = 119. There are 119 letters in the verses. (520 is 40 x 13.) We can re-write the results as: 46 - (13 x 1) = 33, and 639 - (13 x 40) = 119 (The reason for this is given below.)
[In the first part of this study, the number of words, letters, and the sum of the passage all had features which correlated with the meaning of Revelation 1:8. The same can be said of the sum of the first and last words of the proclamation. 639 = 3 x 3 x 71. The pair of threes emphasizes Alpha and Omega

. The digits of 71 can almost be read out as the perfect one.

The first and last letters and words thus far have been used separately. They can be used together to verify the sum total of the passage.
46 + 639 = 685. This isn't anywhere near the sum of the proclamation. At this point, only the value of the words and letters of the first and last word have been used. What other information can be gleaned from the first and last words? The two words together have 10 letters.
Thus: 685 x 10 = 6850. And: 6850 - (13 x 52) = 6174 (the sum of the proclamation).
By using words and letters from the beginning and end of the passage, along with various multiples of 13, it is possible to check the total number of letters, words and the sum of the passage.
To ensure this is not simply some sort of fluke, the coefficients of 13 can be cross checked.

Does Exodus 34:6-7 contain some sort of check sum? The above is not exactly proof of this type of construction, but the possibility exists.
81.There are many minor mathematical curiosities that apply to Exodus 34:6b-7. They are labelled curious
and coincidental, since they have no religious meaning or connection. Their only plus is that they produce numeric features. Three are presented below.
81.1The sum of every 7th letter is 465. The sum of every 22nd letter is 669. Alone, these two do not produce any features, but they do together. 465 + 669 = 1134 (7 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 2). SF: 21 (7 x 3). But why should the 7th and 22nd letters be put together? There are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet. We combine it with the number associated with God’s perfection. But there may also be a mathematical reason. 22 and 7 are the smallest whole numbers that give the closest approximation of Pi as a ratio.
81.2Applying a geometric sequence: 1 2 4 8 16 32 64. The sequence stops at the seventh term since there is no 128th position.

81.3The very first word (a total of 317) of the passage begins with the letter 6 and ends with the letter 1. Find the next word that begins with a letter 1. This is the fourth word (total of 31). Since no word in the passage begins with the letter 40, this sequence ends. The total of these three words is 539 (11 x 7 x 7).
This can also be done with the last word of the passage. This word has a sum of 322. It begins with the letter 200, and ends with the letter 40. In essence, the sequence begins and ends with this one word. And of course, 322 is also divisible by 7 (2 x 7 x 23).
82.1Create larger word sums by inserting a zero after the first digit (e.g. 317 becomes 3017). When this is done, some words become divisible by 7. Some words, formerly divisible by 7, are no longer divisible by 7, while others have experience no change.

86.Rather than add up letters searching for totals divisible by 7, how about searching for totals divisible by 13? Now the number 7 correlates to the actual structure of the proclamation. The sum of the passage is divisible by 7, and there are 119 letters, which is also divisible by 7. The number 13 does not fit the structure of the passage like the number 7, but it is a factor of God’s Name. Because this is not a perfect fit
we should not expect as many features as in the previous case. And as 13 is not 7, so the features will not be the same.
There are six sections as opposed to the sixteen in the previous feature and the last segment ends before the close of the verse.

86.1The position total of the letters of these six segments are either divisible by 7 or 13. Only the very first segment has a position total not divisible by 7 or 13. This lack is compensated by the total of the letters: 338. 338 is divisible by 13 twice.
86.2.1The first letter of each segment: 6 5 5 20 5 70 = 111. The one God who was, is and is to come.
86.2.2The last letter of each segment: 6 6 200 100 40 40 = 392 (2 x 2 x 2 x 7 x 7). Here we see God’s perfection doubled, and the paired attributes: Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End, First and Last.
86.3The position total of the first letters of each word yield no feature: 1 9 13 27 78 105 = 233. Again to make up for it, the position total of the last letters of each segment yields two thirteens: 8 12 26 77 104 111 = 338 (2 x 13 x 13). This is the second time 338 appears.
86.4The running total of the first and last segments are both divisible by 13 twice.
86.5The shortest and longest segments are also a type of first and last. Two totals divisible by 13 come together producing one divisible by 7. The total of the letters in segments 2 and 4 is 2821 (7 x 13 x 31).
86.6The information of the first and last segments can be combined.

86.6.1Sum of the segment positions: 1 + 6 = 7.
86.6.2Sum of the position totals: 36 + 756 = 792 (2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 11). The factors match Revelation 1:8 marvellously. The triplet of 2s are the three sets of paired attributes. The pair of 3s represents the first and second parts of Revelation 1:8, and the 11 is a visual representation of the one God beginning and end.
86.6.3Sum of the running totals: 338 + 5746 = 6084 (2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 13 x 13). The divine factor appears twice.
Only the sum of the letter totals fails to yield anything new.
Could all the features here be coincidence? This section does not have Part I's hallmark. There is no outside verse providing rules or reasons to support it. If this segment stood alone, it would be much weaker, but it does not. The conclusion after Part III will show how all three parts fit a greater design.
