The Structural Miracle IV
The proclamation’s position in chapter 34 is not coincidental. It rests within a larger section of the chapter which also bears the basic numeric features described by Revelation 1:8. And this larger section actually nests within an even larger section also bearing the same type of features! Like Russian dolls inside each other, the eighty-fourth chapter of the Bible (Exodus 34), points to an inner section, which leads to another section, and then finally to the proclamation itself.
Explanation of the color coding follows the block quote below.
the lord said to Moses,Cut two tables of stone like the first; and I will write upon the tables the words that were on the first tables, which you broke. Be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me on the top of the mountain. No man shall come up with you, and let no man be seen throughout all the mountain; let no flocks or herds feed before that mountain. So Moses cut two tables of stone like the first; and he rose early in the morning and went up on Mount Sinai, as the lord had commanded him, and took in his hand two tables of stone. And the lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the lord. the lord passed before him, and proclaimed, the lord, the lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children, to the third and the fourth generation. And Moses made haste to bow his head toward the earth, and worshiped. And he said,If now I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, let the Lord, I pray thee, go in the midst of us, although it is a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thy inheritance.
And he said,Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been wrought in all the earth or in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the lord; for it is a terrible thing that I will do with you.
Observe what I command you this day. Behold, I will drive out before you the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither you go, lest it become a snare in the midst of you. You shall tear down their altars, and break their pillars, and cut down their Asherim (for you shall worship no other god, for the lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God), lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and when they play the harlot after their gods and sacrifice to their gods and one invites you, you eat of his sacrifice, and you take of their daughters for your sons, and their daughters play the harlot after their gods and make your sons play the harlot after their gods.
You shall make for yourself no molten gods.
The feast of unleavened bread you shall keep. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib; for in the month Abib you came out from Egypt. All that opens the womb is mine, all your male cattle, the firstlings of cow and sheep. The firstling of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb, or if you will not redeem it you shall break its neck. All the first-born of your sons you shall redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest; in plowing time and in harvest you shall rest. And you shall observe the feast of weeks, the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end. Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the lord God, the God of Israel. For I will cast out nations before you, and enlarge your borders; neither shall any man desire your land, when you go up to appear before the lord your God three times in the year.
You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left until the morning. The first of the first fruits of your ground you shall bring to the house of the lord your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk.
And the lord said to Moses,Write these words; in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel. And he was there with the lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, with the two tables of the testimony in his hand as he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God. And when Aaron and all the people of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him. But Moses called to them; and Aaron and all the leaders of the congregation returned to him, and Moses talked with them. (Exodus 34:1-31)1
This section begins with the fourth word of Exodus 34:1 in the Hebrew text. In the original Hebrew, God speaks to Moses, and says, Cut-
two new tablets. The numeric section amends this by placing Moses with the word cut
, so it becomes Moses, cut
two new tablets. This section ends with verse 31, dropping the last Hebrew word. In English, the last phrase is and Moses talked with them.
The numbers Numerics Gematria turns this to and Moses talked
or and Moses spoke.
The Hebrew word order is different from the English with the verb talked
preceding Moses.
Thus this section actually begins with Moses' name and ends with Moses' name. It begins with God speaking to Moses, and it ends with Moses speaking to the elders of Israel.
This large section contains the whole account of Moses' miraculous forty days and forty nights on Mount Sinai where he neither ate nor drank. Since he didn't eat or drink, he probably didn't sleep either. And that means Moses spoke with God for over 900 hours. During that time, they probably discussed the entire formation of Israel as a people, nation, culture and future. Israel's recent rejection of the covenant previously given and of their failure in making the golden calf would come up too.
Whether God gave new laws also seems probable, since a few are mentioned later in this chapter. The rest would be in the books of Numbers, Leviticus and Deuteronomy (which would be written later). Only divine guidance could have inspired Moses to select from that body of law to produce the features in this section.
The second section is more economical and slightly smaller. It begins with the ninth Hebrew word of verse 4, and it ends with verse 28, dropping the last three words. This starts with and he went up
and it ends with And he wrote upon the tables the words.
The only details missing from this shorter account are the prohibition of any other person or animal being on Mount Sinai, the early morning, and what happened after Moses came back down. The giving of the covenant and law, which is the most important part, remains complete.
And once again, only God’s guiding hand could have helped Moses write this smaller section within the larger one.
Nestled within these two segments of text is God’s proclamation. Like highlighting within highlighting, and like two witnesses confirming the same, these segments point to The Proclamation. The most important and essential part is The Proclamation. The covenant, law, religion and culture would be nothing without God.

Click the references to see the numeric conversion of each segment: Exodus 34:1-31, Exodus 34:4-28.
1.1The largest section runs from verses 1 to 31. The second section is from verses 4 to 28. The proclamation is from verses 6 to 7. The sum of these verse numbers is 77, with 7 first and last. Seventy-seven factors as 7 x 11, and the eleven shows the same one God beginning and end. This demonstrates perfect placement within chapter 34.
1.2The first verse of each section: 1 + 4 + 6 = 11 (the one God again). The last verse of each section: 31 + 28 + 7 = 66 (2 x 3 x 11, the one God once more).
1.3The first and last words of each section (from big to small): 345 + 345 + 116 + 216 + 317 + 322 = 1661 = 11 x 151. (Two symmetrical numbers beginning and ending with one.)
1.4The numeric totals of each section: 125706 + 95886 + 6174 = 227766 = 2 x 3 x 7 x 11 x 17 x 29. (The factor of 7 was expected since each of the totals was already divisible by 7, but the 11 is new. The sum of the factors is 69, which is not divisible by 7 or 13, but its factors 3 x 23 end up as 26 the sum of God’s name.)
1.5The number of letters from each section: 1750 + 1351 + 119 = 3220 = 2 x 2 x 5 x 7 x 23. (Once again the factor of 7 was expected, but the sum of the factors is 39 = 3 x 13, pointing back to God’s name.)
1.6The second segment begins at the 61st word and ends at the 421st word of the larger segment. The proclamation begins at the 87th word and ends at the 119th word of the larger segment. These word positions are three words off from the actual beginning of Exodus 34:1 since the larger segment starts at the fourth word. Thus in relation to the actual beginning of Exodus 34:1, the beginning and endings of the second segment and the proclamation's word positions can be adjusted by three: 64 + 424 + 90 + 122 = 700 = 2 x 2 x 5 x 5 x 7. SF: 21 = 3 x 7.
1.7There are 86 words in the larger segment before the proclamation. Coincidentally, 86 is the value of the Hebrew word Elohim, meaning gods
. The sum of these 86 words is 21177 (3 x 3 x 13 x 181) showing God’s name. This is entirely appropriate because everything (all these small letter gods
) is leading up to the proclamation of the one supreme God’s name.
1.7.2There are 26 words in the second segment before the proclamation. Twenty-six is the value of God’s name Yhwh in Hebrew. In effect, the placement of the proclamation within the two segments spells out God’s name and divinity (title and rank).
1.7.3The divine name Yhwh (יהוה) appears 13 times in both text segments (13 being a factor of the name itself). The proclamation itself has two appearances of Yhwh. If the appearances in the proclamation were disregarded, the two large text segments would still have 11 appearances of the divine name. (Eleven is a mathematical representation of the one, and the same God first and last.)
1.8The actual story of the Exodus (from chapters 1 to 12) also have a relationship with the proclamation. Between chapter 12 and chapter 34 there are 21 (3 x 7) chapters. The sum of the chapter numbers from 13 to 33 is 483 = 3 x 7 x 23.
Features From The Larger Segment

The Verses
2.1There are 31 verses. The number 31 is the same value as the Hebrew word אל (el) a word often associated with God meaning mighty.
2.2.1First word of each verse: 8580 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 5 x 11 x 13.
2.2.2Last word of each verse: 10404 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 17 x 17. This is not divisible by 7 or 13, but its uniqueness lies in the square of the factors. There are three pairs reminiscent of Revelation 1:8.
2.2.3First and last words of each verse: 18984 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 7 x 113. Combining the two previous totals produces a new sum that is divisible by 7.
2.3.1Odd valued verses: 61110 = 2 x 3 x 3 x 5 x 7 x 97.
2.3.2Even valued verses: 64596 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 7 x 769.
2.4The chart below lists segments of verses from beginning and end with totals divisible by 7.
a) Start of verse segment. b) End of verse segment. c) Sum of the two segments. a) 1 2 2 2 4 5 5 6 6 7 9 b) 9 5 13 14 11 8 12 13 14 10 12 c) 70315 33649 99547 108290 66297 26677 64505 65898 74641 32879 37828
2.4.1The sum of the segment positions where they start a): 49 = 7 x 7. SF: 14 = 2 x 7.
2.4.2The sum of the segment positions where they end b): 121 = 11 x 11. (The symmetry is a picture of the one God who is the same at the beginning and end. The two factors of 11 reinforce the same idea.)
2.5Every tenth verse:
10 20 30 7867 4267 3739
Total: 15873 = 3 x 11 x 13 x 37.
2.6.1The middle 13 verses (10th to 22nd): 55391 = 7 x 41 x 193.
2.6.2The verse in the middle (16th): 2898 = 2 x 3 x 3 x 7 x 23.

Features From The Inner Segment
Primary Features
(Derived from Revelation 1:8 and grouped for easy reference.)
A.1Numeric total of the passage: 95886 = 2 x 3 x 3 x 7 x 761. (See feature 5.4.)
A.5Number of letters: 1351 = 7 x 193. (See feature 5.2.)
B.2Every other verse (odd positions): 52668 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 7 x 11 x 19. (See feature 4.3.1.)
B.2.2Every other verse (even positions): 43218 = 2 x 3 x 3 x 7 x 7 x 7 x 7. (See feature 4.3.2.)
B.4Every other letter (odd positions): 47103 = 3 x 7 x 2243. (See feature 5.6.)
B.4.2Every other letter (even positions): 48783 = 3 x 7 x 23 x 101. (See feature 5.6.2.)
C.3.2First and last letter of each word: 49651 = 7 x 41 x 173. (See feature 5.5.3.)
D.2.3First letter of each verse: 1253 = 7 x 179. (See feature 4.7.)
D.3.3First letter of each word: 19313 = 7 x 31 x 89. (See feature 5.5.1.)
E.3.3Last letter of each word: 30338 = 2 x 7 x 11 x 197. (See feature 5.5.2.)
The Verses
4.1The reason why there are 25 verses in this segment is shown below.
4.1.1The eleventh verse and eleventh last verse (15th counting from the beginning) are the only two that can be paired together to produce a sum divisible by 7. Individually neither are divisible by seven. The eleventh verse has a total of 2197 (13 x 13 x 13). The eleventh verse from the end has a value of 6546, and this has no features. The two together: 8743 = 7 x 1249. The interesting part is that counting from the beginning, their positions 11 and 15 add up to the sum of the divine name 26.
4.1.2The tenth verse and tenth last verse (16th counting from the beginning) are the only verses that individually, and together are divisible by 13. The sum of their positions from the beginning 10 + 16 again equal 26.
4.1.3Removing the stipulation that verses must be individually divisible by 13 finds an additional pair. The 8th and 8th last verses (18th counting from the beginning) together yield 9516 (2 x 2 x 3 x 13 x 61). The positions: 8 + 18 + 10 + 16 = 52 (2 x 2 x 13).
In essence, every pair equal distant from the beginning and end will have their positions adding up to the divine name.
4.2The chart below lists an equal number of verses from the beginning and end of the segment. The sum of these verses is divisible by 7.
Segments of text from the beginning and end a) From verse: 1 2 2 3 3 4 6 b) To verse: 6 5 9 10 11 7 9 c) Total: 40495 26677 64505 65898 74641 32879 37828
The total of line a): 21 = 3 x 7.
The total of line b): 57 = 3 x 19. N.F.
All the positions (a + b): 78 = 2 x 3 x 13.
4.3.1The odd positioned verses: 52668 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 7 x 11 x 19.
4.3.2The even positioned verses: 43218 = 2 x 3 x 3 x 7 x 7 x 7 x 7.
4.3.3Beginning with the first verse and taking every third after: 35532 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 7 x 47.
4.3.4Start with the first verse and take every 7th after: 15184 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 13 x 73.
4.3.5Take every eighth after the first verse: 15717 = 3 x 13 x 13 x 31.
4.3.6Every ninth after the first verse: 12233 = 13 x 941.
4.3.7Every tenth verse: 8771 = 7 x 7 x 179.
4.4.1The twenty-five verses make it possible to break the passage into sections of five verses each. The odd positioned section: 49621 = 11 x 13 x 347. SF: 371 = 7 x 53.
4.4.2The even positioned sections: 46265 = 5 x 19 x 487. SF: 511 = 7 x 73.
4.5Five verses have totals divisible by 13: 4394 5811 2197 1027 2626 = 16055 = 5 x 13 x 13 x 19. (An extra factor of 13 appears.)
4.6The middle verse is the 13th verse: 2898 = 2 x 3 x 3 x 7 x 23.
4.7The first letter of each verse: 1253 = 7 x 179.
The Words And Letters
5.1Number of words: 361 = 19 x 19 (a perfect square).
5.2Number of letters: 1351 = 7 x 193.

Conclusion
Now we have seen the complete intricate structure of The Proclamation, in relation to itself (the small picture), in relation to the Bible (the big picture), and in relation to chapter 34 itself (the mid-sized picture).
The principles from Revelation 1:8 can clearly be seen in both segments from chapter 34. There is first and last, beginning and end, and every other word or letter in various sequences. These are not random segments of text. Nor are they random numeric features. They mirror The Proclamation's first five features. Both have the theme of the giving of the covenant, and the covenant is backed by the one and only supreme God.
What is the covenant? You won't find the details in the numbers. And you won't find the New Covenant from Jesus in the numbers either. You'll find it by reading the Gospels and the New Testament.
