The Proclamation & The Bible
Features in this section are based on the structure of the Bible itself. Since Jewish and Christian believers index the Bible differently, and since even Christians themselves are not in full agreement on the number of books or the division of verses, these features are actually of a lower or lesser quality. Even so, they show the uniqueness of the proclamation in Exodus 34:6-7.
The features in this section deal with the number of times the Tetragrammaton appears, and the number of books, chapters and verses in the Bible. Obviously, one of the easiest ways to construct a feature would be to simply divide the books, chapters or verses until one created a total number divisible by 7 or 13. The same would apply to appearances of the name of the lord. Anyone could easily insert enough entries so the total number of times the Divine Name appeared would be divisible by 7 or 13. Fortunately, the total number of books, chapters and verses, and the number of times God’s Name appears are not divisible by 7 or 13. This indicates no one deliberately tried manipulating these items in the Bible.
When Exodus 34:6-7 and Revelation 1:8 are considered, we see God’s hidden hand behind human endeavors. It is as if everything else in the Bible serves to highlight these two verses.

87.1From Exodus to Revelation there are 65 books: 13 x 5.
87.2Between Exodus and Revelation are 63 books: 7 x 3 x 3. SF: 13.
87.3.1The two verses being studied are in Exodus chapter 34, and Revelation chapter 1.
34 + 1 = 35 = 7 x 5 SF:12 = 3 x 2 x 2 SF:7

Total number of chapters in the Bible (OT and NT): 1189 = 29 x 41 [Old Testament: 929, New Testament: 260].
If someone was trying to fix
the number of chapters in the Bible, they would most likely have divided the Bible to give a chapter number divisible by 7, 13 or 26. As can be seen, the number of chapters is 1189, which is not divisible by 7, 13 or 26. Only the NT has a chapter total divisible by 13. Nevertheless, we see God’s hidden hand behind human endeavours when we apply the principle of beginning
and end
from Revelation 1:8.
87.4.1If we count the number of chapters from the beginning
of the Bible up to and including Exodus 34 (the chapter where the proclamation resides), the total is 84 (2 x 2 x 3 x 7, SF:14 = 7 x 2).
87.4.2And if we count the number of chapters from the end
of the Bible, up to and including Exodus 34, we get 1106 (2 x 7 x 79).
87.4.3To confirm the above relationship, consider the number of chapters from Exodus 34 up to Revelation 1 (counting inclusively). The total is 1085 (5 x 7 x 31).
87.4.4These features all point to Revelation 1:8. Is there anything here that points to Exodus 34:6-7? Yes there is. From the features above, counting from the beginning to Exodus 34, the total is 84. And counting from the end of the Bible to Exodus 34, the total is 1106. 84 + 1106 = 1190. (In essence, the 34th chapter of Exodus has been counted twice.) 1190 = 2 x 5 x 7 x 17. 1190 is exactly ten times the number of letters in the proclamation.
87.4.5Depending where the count begins, from the beginning at Exodus 34, or from the end with Revelation 1, special relationships appear between these two chapters and books with the rest of the Bible. The number of chapters in the books below are divisible by 7 or 13.
From Exodus 34 to Nehemiah 13 (the first book with 13 chapters) the number of chapters: 343 = 7 x 7 x 7.
From Revelation 1 to Hebrew 13 (last book with 13 chapters) the number of chapters: 35 = 5 x 7.
From Exodus 34 to Jeremiah 52 (only book with 52 chapters): 714 = 2 x 3 x 7 x 17.
From Revelation 1 to Jeremiah 52: 423 (No feature).
From Exodus 34 to Judges 21 (first book after Exodus with chapter total
divisible by 7): 149
From Revelation 1 to Acts 28 (as above): 150 [NB 149 and 150 differ only by 1.]
Together: 299 = 13 x 23
From Exodus 34 to Micah 7 (only book with 7 chapters): 817
From Revelation 1 to Micah 7: 275

87.5The book of Isaiah is also intimately related to the proclamations in Exodus and Revelation. Isaiah 41:4, 44:6 and 48:12 give a preview of the first and last
centuries before the book of Revelation.
87.5.1Exodus is the second book of the Bible; Isaiah is the 23rd book; and Revelation is the 66th book. 2 + 23 + 66 = 91 (13 x 7). And if we count from the end of the Bible, Revelation is the 1st book, Isaiah the 44th, and Exodus the 65th book. 1 + 44 + 65 = 110. This is not divisible by 7 or 13, but here we see the factor 11 (one God beginning and end).
87.5.2Exodus has 40 chapters, Isaiah 66, and Revelation 22. The three books together have 128 chapters (2 to the power 7).
87.5.3The pertinent verses in each book also tells us something. Exodus 34:6 and 7 span one verse (1 = 1 x 1). Isaiah 41:4 to 48:12 span 171 verses (3 x 3 x 19), and Revelation 1:8 to 22:13 span 388 verses (2 x 2 x 97). There are three sub-features here.
First, the total of the range of verses: 1 + 171 + 388 = 560 (2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 7).
Second, each set of factors contains a square (1 = 1 x 1; 3 x 3 x 19; 2 x 2 x 97).
And third, the factors of 1, 171 and 388 add up to 128 (2 to the power of 7). Now it could be argued that the number 1 has no other
factors, and thus the total of the factors should exclude the factors of 1. If we do so, the sum of the factors is 126 (2 x 3 x 3 x 7). Or we could argue the other way. If 1 = 1 x 1, then the other two factors should also have a factor of 1 included. In this case, the sum of the factors of all three numbers would be 130 (which leads back to YHWH). No matter which way we look at it, there is a feature of 7 or 13.
87.5.4In terms of Bible books, the midpoint between Exodus and Isaiah lies between 2 Kings and 1 Chronicles. The midpoint between Isaiah and Revelation is between Acts and Romans. Coincidentally, these four books (2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, Acts and Romans) together have a total of 98 chapters (7 x 7 x 2).
88.The preceding feature dealt with the placement of Exodus 34:6-7 within the books and chapters of the Bible. Can features be found for the verses? Yes they can. The features are not the same just as verses are not chapters.
N.B. There are differences between the way the Hebrew text, and the English translations are indexed. Also, in some Bible translations the end of the Gospel of Mark is shorter. Such differences are clear indicators the verses will not have numeric features like the chapters.

88.1.1There are 31103 verses in the Bible (23145 in the OT, and 7958 in the NT with the longer version of the Gospel of Mark). The proclamation resides in two verses, the 2503rd and 2504th verses of the Bible, while Revelation 1:8 is the 30707th verse. But Revelation 1:8 is not the only verse in this book about the Alpha and the Omega, First and Last, or Beginning and End. There are four other verses in Revelation, 1:17, 2:8, 21:6, and 22:13. (Some of these verses appear to refer to Jesus. Whether one agrees with the theory of the Trinity or not, surely God also has the same qualities and characteristics as Jesus.) The verse positions of these four verses are: 30716 30727 31061 31095.
The sum of all seven verses: 2503 + 2504 + 30707 + 30716 + 30727 + 31061 + 31095 = 159313 = 7 x 11 x 2069.
88.1.2Exodus 34:6-7, and Revelation 1:8 are the three main verses. These verses are capable of standing together without the other four: 2503 + 2504 + 30707 = 35714 (7 x 2 x 2551).
88.1.3Amazingly, the other four verses also stand together: 30716 + 30727 + 31061 + 31095 = 123599 (7 x 17657).
88.1.4The proclamation is found in only one area of the book of Exodus, while the Alpha and Omega are found in several places in the book of Revelation. Conversely, in the New Testament, only the book of Revelation contains the verses on this subject, while in the Old Testament this can be found in two books: Exodus 34:6-7 and Isaiah 41:4, 44:6, and 48:12. To complete the picture, there is a parallel between Isaiah and Revelation. Both books contain the only phrase in the Bible where God is praised as holy, holy, holy.
The relevant verses are: Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 4:8.
These five verses all stand together as well:

88.1.5These verses sit in 10 chapters: 84 685 720 725 727 1163 1164 1166 1183 1184. The total is: 8801 = 13 x 677.
88.2From the end of the Bible to Exodus 34:6, there are 28601 verses, and 28600 verses to Exodus 34:7. From the end of the Bible to Revelation 1:8, there are 397 verses.
Using the end of the Bible as the starting point, Exodus 34:6-7 and Revelation 1:8 together: 28601 + 28600 + 397 = 57598 = 2 x 31 x 929.
The result does not match the features found in the chapters. There is no factor of 7 or 13.
If we look further, however, the sum of the factors add up to 962 (2 x 13 x 37). And the sum of these factors is 52 (2 x 2 x 13). The Name's factor appears only when we go deeper.
88.3From Exodus 34:7 to Revelation 1:8 there are 28203 (3 x 7 x 17 x 79) verses (30707 - 2504).
88.4Between these two verses, there are 28202 verses. Again the verses do not produce anything like the chapters.
88.5The above examined the structure of the Bible in relation to these two verses from the beginning

. What happens when they are combined?
Revelation 1:8 is the 397th verse from the end of the Bible, and the proclamation sits in the 2503rd and 2504th verses from the beginning of the Bible. 397 + 2503 + 2504 = 5404 = 2 x 2 x 7 x 193
No features are found when we look at Revelation 1:8 from the beginning of the Bible, and Exodus 34:6-7 from the end of the Bible.
88.6Revelation 1:8 is the 30707th verse from the beginning of the Bible.
The proclamation sits in the 28601st and 28600th verses from the end of the Bible.
30707 + 28601 + 28600 = 87908 (2 x 2 x 21977)
88.7The 332nd verse in the Bible is the first verse to reside in the 13th verse of a 13th chapter. This is Genesis 13:13. Exodus 34:6 is the 2503rd verse.
332 + 2503 = 2835 = 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 5 x 7.
There is no corresponding feature searching from the end of the Bible. Counting from the end of the Bible, Revelation is the first book. Revelation 10 is the 13th chapter from the end of the Bible, but only has 11 verses.
88.81 Chronicles 13:13 is the 13th book, 13th chapter, and 13th verse. This is the 10774th verse in the Bible. It is 8271 verses from Exodus 34:6, and 8270 verses from Exodus 34:7. 8271 + 8270 = 16541 = 7 x 17 x 139. Again there is no corresponding feature searching from the end of the Bible. 1 Timothy is the 13th book from the end of the Bible, and it does not have 13 chapters.
88.9The Bible changes from the OT to the NT between Malachi 4:6 and Matthew 1:1. Malachi 4:6 is the 23145th verse of the Bible, and Matthew 1:1 is the 23146th verse. 23145 + 23146 = 46291 = 7 x 17 x 388. This is not a feature of Exodus 34:6-7 or Revelation 1:8, but of the structure of the Bible itself. The factors of 46291 add up to 413 (7 x 59), and these secondary factors add up to 66, coincidentally matching the exact number of books in the Bible.
88.9.1Matthew 1:1 is the beginning of the NT. It is the 23146th verse of the Bible. It is 20643 verses from Exodus 34:6.
20643 = 3 x 7 x 983. This is subtracting Exodus 34:6's position in the Bible from Matthew 1:1. The two verse positions can be added: 23146 + 2503 = 25649 (13 x 1973).
No feature is found using Exodus 34:7 and Matthew 1:1.
88.9.2Malachi 4:6 is the ending of the OT. It is the 23145th verse of the Bible. Its verse position can be added to the positions of Exodus 34:6, and Exodus 34:7.
23145 + 2503 = 25648 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 7 x 229 23145 + 2504 = 25649 = 13 x 1973
88.10From the beginning of the book of Exodus to the end of the proclamation (Exodus 1:1-34:7):
88.10.1The number of letters: 51,380 = 2 x 2 x 5 x 7 x 367.
88.10.2The numeric total: 3,639,405 = 3 x 5 x 7 x 11 x 23 x 137. (The factor of 23 indicates the Exodus deals with people, specifically the people of Israel.)
88.10.2.1Every other verse, or odd positioned verses: 1808697 = 3 x 11 x 23 x 2383. (The number 23 appears again.)
88.10.2.2Every other verse, or even positioned verses: 1830708 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 11 x 23 x 67. (Once more 23 shows.) The entire story of the exodus leads up to and culminates with the proclamation. Israel was freed from Egypt to serve God. (Exodus 3:12)
Separately, each of these features appear coincidental, but taken together it is clear God knew exactly how people were going to index the Bible. This is not to say the Bible's structure is perfect, or holy1. Nor does this prove the people who inserted chapters and verses were especially inspired. All we can conclude is that God is omniscient and omnipotent. He knew every last detail beforehand, and He was capable of arranging everything.
In the features above, we see how the proclamation fits into the big picture. Previous sections dealt with features within Exodus 34:6-7 paralleling the meaning of Revelation 1:8. This was like studying fine details under a microscope (the small picture). There remains the mid-sized picture, how The Proclamation fits into Exodus chapter 34.
What is the actual picture? It's in the text of the Bible, not the numbers. Please read it and make it your own.
