Jesus' Teachings & Ministry
God called Jesus his beloved son
(Matthew 3:17). The angel said he would be called the son of God.
(Luke 1:35) Thus Jesus is different from all religious leaders, and more superior than any prophet. The following will show the loving hand of God in the life, teaching and ministry of Jesus.
Most of the studies presented here are based on numbers divisible by seven following the description in Revelation 1:8. But there is one other number, the number thirteen. [Thirteen comes from God’s name in Hebrew (יהוה). The value of the letters total twenty-six (2 x 13).] Jesus called God My Father
(John 5:17). And to prove Jesus' claim, two extensive passages in the Gospels of Matthew and John have multiple features carrying the number thirteen.
(N.B. You will not grow spiritually by studying these numbers. These numbers can be laid aside once you know they highlight Jesus' teachings and his minstry in the Bible. Mastery of numbers is not required. You will grow spiritually by studying and mastering Jesus' life and teachings in the Gospels.)
Matthew is the first Gospel.
John is the last Gospel.
This parallels Revelation 1:8 where God says I am the Alpha and the Omega.
The section from Matthew is from 3:16 to 13:35. The section from John is from 1:32 to 20:31. These are all complete verses, and the first and last verses of each segment mark off a complete theme or story.
And when Jesus was baptized, he went up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on him; (Matthew 3:16)1
This is the beginning of Jesus' official ministry. The Holy Spirit cofirms Jesus.
This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet:I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.(Matthew 13:35)
Matthew 13:35 concludes the core section of Jesus' teachings.
I saw the Spirit descend as a dove from heaven, and it remained on him. (John 1:32)
The segment in John also begins with the Holy Spirit anointing Jesus.
but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name. (John 20:31)
In both Gospels, the narrative begins after the baptism of Jesus with the descent of the Holy Spirit upon him.
The story ends in Matthew with the fulfillment of prophecy concerning Jesus' teachings. The story ends in John admonishing readers to believe what was written. While not exactly the same, the sense of completed story is clear in both Gospels. The segment from John practically covers the entire Gospel!

Why were similar segments not found in the Gospels of Mark and Luke? Because Jesus is not God. God not only says He is beginning and end
in Revelation 1:8, but also is, was, and is to come.
This second quality is one of sequence enduring through time. If similar segments were found in Mark and Luke, then Jesus' life and ministry would also have this quality. This would strengthen the idea that Jesus is God. The numbers do not allow this mistake.
The number features in Matthew and John are different because one covers Jesus' teachings while the other is more on Jesus' ministry. But there are primary features following Revelation 1:8 in both segments.
Since these segments from Matthew and John are divisible by 13, this means when a total is divisible by 7, there is no complementary opposite feature. Totals would have to be divisible by 13. For example, if the odd positioned words were divisible by 7, this would automatically mean the even positioned words could not be divisible by 7. But in the examples below, there will be features divisible by 7. This is different from Revelation 1:8 where features are paired. There is a reason for this. Revelation 1:8 is about God, and Jesus is not God. As a result, it is entirely appropriate that sometimes there is no complementary opposite.

As nice as all this seems, there is a mathematical reason why the Nth and Nth last always add up to something divisible by 7. This is because the total number of words is 6439. And 6439 just so happens to be one of those numbers where the first and last positions together are divisible by 7: 1 + 6439 = 6440 = 23 x 5 x 7 x 23.

The Segments In Three Dimensions
The number of chapters is a prime number and cannot be factored. Thus the number of chapters cannot be used for a multiple dimension object.
The number of words factors into two single digit numbers and a four digit number. In a similar manner, the number of letters factors into four numbers, two with single digits, one with two digits, and a fourth with three digits. Any three or multiple dimension object derived from the words or letters would have to be long and thin.
The number of verses has six factors. By pairing the six factors in various ways, it is possible to have a three dimension object that is not long and thin, but closer to a square (2 Chronicles 3:8). When Jesus' life, ministry and teachings are considered as a whole, the principles of Revelation 1:8 appear visually in the numbers.
Conclusion
Following the pattern described in Revelation 1:8, the features in these segments authenticate Jesus' life, teachings and ministry. No other human in the Bible or in the history of the world has such numeric features. And the very interesting part is that Jesus did not write any books! The Gospels were written quite some time after Jesus' ascension. Everything we know and have about Jesus came from his disciples. This assures us everything we need to know has been transmitted accurately over several thousand years.
