Be Holy For I Am Holy
Holiness is a command from God (Leviticus 11:44-45).
For I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming thing that crawls upon the earth. For I am the LORD who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God; you shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. (Leviticus 11:44-45)1
It is not something that only applies in the Old Testament. This is repeated even in the New Testament.
–even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. (Ephesians 1:4; See also: 1 Peter 1:15, & Revelation 22:11)
Holiness is a requirement. It is a standard, and it does not change. That is why an accurate standard weight is intrinsically good, and a false weight an abomination (Deuteronomy 25: 15; Proverbs 11:1 & 20:23). The false weight/balance lies about itself and lies to others just by its existence.
The numeric features displayed in the text demonstrate the complementary opposites of Revelation 1:8. There is such a thing as Alpha and Omega, First and Last, Beginning and End. They are not to be confused, just as what is holy, and what is not holy are not to be confused. This includes standards of male and female (Genesis 1:27; Leviticus 18:22). Confusion is abomination.
At its very simplest, it is separation (2 Corinthians 6:17). At a deeper level, it is the decreasing tendency to do wrong.
Beware those who remove long standing regulations and relax standards!
But God's firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity." (2 Timothy 2:19)
The numeric features in the text of Leviticus 11:44-45 are a reminder to believers of all ages that holiness is still very important.

Numeric Features
The Words
Since these two verses are only about the requirement for holiness and not a description of God’s nature, they should not be expected to equal the number and quality of numeric features in Exodus 34:6-7.
1.1.Numeric total: 9802 = 2 x 132 x 29. Factors of thirteen link the requirement for holiness to the God of the Bible.
1.2.Odd positioned words: 5473 = 13 x 421. SF: 434 = 2 x 7 x 31.
1.3.Even positioned words: 4329 = 32 x 13 x 37. SF: 56 = 23 x 7. SF: 13.
1.4.Odd positioned segments of 2 words: 6090 = 2 x 3 x 5 x 7 x 29.
1.5.Positions of the first and last letters of each word: 4739 = 7 x 677.

appears in word positions 9 and 33: 9 + 33 = 42.
2.2.There are 34 words in the passage. 1 + 2 + ... + 33 + 34 = 595 (5 x 7 x 17).
2.3.1The first and last words: 30 + 61 = 91 = 7 x 13.
2.3.2This means the middle 32 words is also divisible by 13: 9802 - 91 = 9711 = 3 x 3 x 13 x 83.

The sum of line 'd' is divisible by 7 because every item on the line is already divisible by 7. But why are line a) and b) also divisible by 7? Sum of line a): 175 = 5 x 5 x 7. Sum of line b): 1526 = 2 x 7 x 109.

Only the first, and 12th are divisible by 13. And of course 1 + 12 = 13.

12.Only two letters in the passage are divisible by 7. The letter 70 is found in positions 72 and 89. 72 + 89 = 161 = 7 x 23.
Conclusion
The principles developed from Revelation 1:8 of complementary opposites or sequence still produce numeric features. They are not as consistent as in other verses, but this was expected since this passage is not a description of God. Nevertheless, what can be found still shows God’s signature, and it confirms the importance of this instruction. Holiness is a requirement, and it is necessary for the believer.
