The Story Of Abraham

The story of Abraham begins in Genesis 13:8. Prior to this point the story was of the children of Terah: Abram and Lot. Even though the next few chapters include other people and events, from this point the story really is about Abraham and the promise God gave him.

Then Abram said to Lot, Let there be no strife between you and me, and between your herdsmen and my herdsmen; for we are kinsmen. (Genesis 13:8)1

Although he was the elder, Abram allowed his nephew Lot to choose land first (Genesis 13:9). God would honour Abram for his meekness, and generosity.

The text segment ends with God providing a substitute sacrifice for Isaac.

So Abraham called the name of that place The LORD will provide; as it is said to this day, On the mount of the LORD it shall be provided. (Genesis 22:14)

This is the climax of Abraham's life as he passes God's final test. As God offered Jesus to make possible a future in heaven for humanity, so Abraham was willing to offer Isaac to obtain the promise of many descendants. Events after this point never change his standing with God or change Isaac as the future heir to God's promises. Thus the numbers Numerics Gematria stop with the highest point in Abraham's life.

Although Abraham continues to play a key role, after Genesis 22:14 the story becomes Isaac's story. No numeric features were found for the life of Isaac. One reason might be because Isaac was never really tested like Abraham.

Line A covers verses 1 and 2 from the beginning, and verses 1 and 2 from the end. 2.2Position total (a + b): 4030 = 2 x 5 x 13 x 31. Coincidentally, thirteen and thirty-one (the reverse in terms of digits) appear in the factors. (Thirteen is associated יהוה, and 31 is the numeric value of the Hebrew word for god (El, אל).

2.3From the beginning, the 16th verse to the 32nd verse, plus the 16th verse from the end to the 32nd verse from the end (221 to 205): 117649 = 7 x 7 x 7 x 7 x 7 x 7. SF: 42 = 2 x 3 x 7. SF: 12 = 2 x 2 x 3. SF: 7. (This was selected out of a large list and might just be the odds, but it was too good to pass up.)

The first group by itself is divisible by 7: 59619 = 3 x 7 x 17 x 167. And this means the last group is also divisible by 7: 58030 = 2 x 5 x 7 x 829.

Why 16 and 32? Perhaps because from beginning and end these four numbers add up to 96 (2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3. SF: 13). Or perhaps 16 + 17 + 18 ... + 30 + 31 + 32 = 408 (2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 17. SF: 26 = 2 x 13. The 16th from to end to the 32nd to the end are actually the numbers 205 and 221 from the beginning. And adding all numbers from 205 to 221: 3621 = 3 x 17 x 71. SF: 91 = 7 x 13. In all three cases, the number of God's name appears in the second level. It's as if this mirrors what was seen in features 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 where God was not obvious at first, but is clearly seen later.

2.4Beginning with the first verse, and taking every Nth verse after, find all those that produced sequences divisible by 7. N works for the following sequences: 3, 28, 31, 41, 59, 60, 61, 63, 70, 71, 80, 95, 98, 102, 114, and 116. The sum of these numbers: 1092 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 7 x 13.

2.5Break the list of verses into segments of 59 verses each. Number each segment. The sum of the odd positioned segments: 406630 = 2 x 5 x 7 x 37 x 157. SF: 208 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 13. SF: 21 = 3 x 7. Conclusion

Contrary to what Muslims and others have claimed, the similarity in numeric features with The Proclamation assure us the origin of the people of Israel as recorded in the Bible is true. There was a man in ancient times by the name of Abraham who was chosen by God. The covenant God made with him, offering protection and blessing were later transferred to Isaac. God said to Abraham that Isaac was his only son and this is said twice! (Ishmael was not considered.) This was just the first step in bringing God’s plan for the redemption of the world.
