Two Prophecies On China
Isaiah has two prophecies on China, chapters 18 and 23. Both chapters end with China honouring God. From the beginning of chapter 18 to the end of chapter 23 there are 98 verses (2 x 72). This sets this portion of the book of Isaiah apart from other sections. The uniqueness of this portion will be demonstrated in the numeric features below. The Numeric Link With China
The 98 verses coincidentally link the last two verses of Isaiah 23 to China. The 98th Big5 character in the Chinese language is 勻, which means even; well-distributed; uniform; to distribute evenly; to share.
The people who bring gifts (Isaiah 18:7) and the Tyre that returns (Isaiah 23:18) both share what they have.
Brief Overview Of Events Chapter 18 is a prophecy of our time, and the near future with China coming to honour God. Chapter 19 concerns Egypt's fall, and ends with Israel, Egypt and Assyria coming together to worship God. Chapter 20 is a prophecy of Assyria defeating Egypt and Cush. Chapter 21 covers the fall of Babylon, the fall of Seir, and the fall of Kedar. Chapter 22 is a prophecy of the fall of Judah, the collapse of her political class, the replacement of that political class, and the eventual collapse of the replacement, a continual purging of Judah and Israel. Chapter 23 prophesies the fall of Tyre by Babylon, and the return of a new Tyre (China) that honours God.
Nations collapsing and changing are the main themes of the prophetic events in this portion of Isaiah. Some nations acknowledge God, and they are preserved. Nations that do not acknowledge God are destroyed and never return.
First and last are characteristics God has claimed for Himself (Revelation 1:8). Thus the first and last chapters of this passage are chosen to have the same ending, a nation honouring God. Does it have numeric features (i.e. does it work)? Yes it works very well.
The numeric total from the beginning of Isaiah 18 to the end of Isaiah 23: 320397 = 3 x 7 x 11 x 19 x 73.
China is written with two characters 中國. These two characters have the values 101 and 3243. The total of these characters: 3344 = 24 x 11 x 191. The common factors between the passage in Isaiah and 中國 are 11 and 19 (a one in 209 chance). The mind automatically leaps in making a connection between these two factors and recent Chinese history. Put the two factors together as a single number 1911. This is the year the last emperor abdicated and China became a republic, ending 2132 years of imperial rule. 1911 is divisible by 7 and 13. 2132 is divisible by 13.
The 11th character in Big5 is 入, and the 19th character is 卜.
入 [ru4] to enter; to go into; to join; to become a member of; to confirm
or agree with.
卜 [Bu3] surname Bu; to divine; to forecast or estimate; (of a place to
live etc) to choose.
Together, 入卜, would mean to go into divination
or in the current context, enter prophecy.
As this refers to China, China enters prophecy.
Multiply the common factors 11 and 19, and the result is 209. Big5's 209th character is 叫 (to call). In Isaiah 23:16, Tyre is told to sing, calling
to mind her past that she not be forgotten. In Isaiah 23:17, God seeks or perhaps calls
Tyre. (叫's numeric value: 308 = 22 x 7 x 11.)
In Chinese dictionaries, the characters 中國 are classified under the radicals丨and 囗. These two radicals have the numeric values −6271 and 9482. The total of these radicals is 3211 (132 x 19). Since 13 is related to God’s name in Hebrew, this is another link for China being in Bible prophecy.
Are these links between China and Isaiah's prophecies real? Or is this just something the human mind conjures up as an explanation? More evidence is required. The section, China In The Numbers, and China In The Letters present an astonishing series of numeric coincidences.
The Chapters
The basic statistics of the passage are given below along with the totals for each chapter.

1First and last chapters: 27426 + 55547 = 82973 = 11 x 19 x 397. SF: 427 = 7 x 61. Once again the common factors 11 and 19 appear. (They are specific to the first and last chapters where God is honoured.)
Curiously, the end of chapter 19 is where Egypt, Israel and Assyria come to worship God. Its total is divisible by 7: 80668 = 22 x 7 x 43 x 67. SF: 121 = 112. Including it with the first and last chapters yields nothing. Egypt, Israel and Assyria stand on their own apart from the nation mentioned in the first and last chapters. There is a difference in distance, with Egypt, Israel and Assyria close to the land God calls His own, and China being far away. There is also a distinct difference in the way these nations would honour God.
1.1Chapter 20 has the lowest total. Chapter 19 has the highest total. Lowest and highest, the chapter numbers total 39 (3 x 13).
1.2The previous feature was based on the chapters within the book of Isaiah. The chapters of the passage (1 to 6) have a different feature. Three chapter totals are divisible by 7, the first, second, and fourth (1 + 2 + 4 = 7). Three chapter totals are not divisible by 7 (3 + 5 + 6 = 14).
1.2.1The chapters that are divisible by 7 together go deeper: 160566 = 2 x 3 x 7 x 3823. SF: 3835 = 5 x 13 x 59. SF: 77 = 7 x 11.
1.2.2This means the chapters that are not divisible by 7, together would also be divisible by 7: 159831 = 32 x 7 x 43 x 59.
1.2.3The even balance of three chapters divisible by 7, and three chapters not divisible by 7 set up a contrast inviting comparison by taking the difference: 160566 − 159831 = 735 (3 x 5 x 72). There are two factors of 7. The sum of the factors is a symmetrical number, 22, with its own factors 2 x 11 adding to 13.

China In The Numbers
3.6As mentioned before, the common factors between the passage and the numeric total of 中國 (China) are 11 and 19. The product of 11 and 19 is 209. No word in the passage has a total of 209. However, two words are multiples of 209. These are the 592nd and 993rd words, values 418 and 836.2 The sum of these words is naturally divisible by 11 and 19: 418 + 836 = 1254 (2 x 3 x 11 x 19). The sum of the factors is the surprise: 35 = 5 x 7. The positions have a similar result: 592 + 993 = 1585 (5 x 317). The sum of the factors surprises again: 322 = 2 x 7 x 23.
Feature 3.6 might simply be coincidence. What follows shows it is not.
Curiously, the 1254th character in Big5 is 指, which means to point at, to indicate, to refer to.
These two words, 418 and 836 point to something much more.

There are two factors of 7, two other factors with digits of 7, and a 2 which is one of the smallest (and therefore the weakest) of the six factors for China's 3344. In the sum of these factors, the factor of 2 doubles and strengthens (though a 1 in 4 chance is still very weak): 212 = 22 x 53. The sum of these factors strengthens the link to China again: 57 = 3 x 19. Nineteen is the largest factor of China's 3344, much rarer than a 7 or 13. The sum of the factors leads to two more factors for China: 22 = 2 x 11. And in the last level of factors the total is 13.
5.6.2Seven hundred and twenty-five letters of 60, 10 and 50 remain untouched. Their total: 14710 = 2 x 5 x 1471. Once again there is a tenuous weak link to China with the factor 2. The sum of the factors produces another weak link: 1478 = 2 x 739. Then the link strengthens in the third level of factors: 741 = 3 x 13 x 19. And it continues strong in the fourth level: 35 = 5 x 7. In the fifth level, the sum of the factors is 12 = 22 x 3, with two 2s. The sixth level ends with 7.
5.6.3.1In the third and final search for Syna, there was only one result. This was the 38th Syna (2 x 19).
5.6.3.2This Syna covered letters from positions 529 to 649, a total of 121 letters (11 x 11).

5.6.3.2Since the 38th Syna found covers letters whose total is divisible by 19, this means all the letters not covered by this Syna are also divisible by 19: 314089 = 19 x 61 x 271. SF: 351 = 33 x 13. SF: 22 = 2 x 11. SF: 13.
(Letters not covered by this Syna are letters before and after, a type of first and last. Unfortunately, the letters before, and the letters after separately have no features on their own. This might be because Isaiah chapters 18 to 23 cover many nations and not just China. Thus what is not of China has to stand together.)
5.6.4.1Of the 38 Synas found with this technique, there is one other that has special properties. This is the third Syna which covers letter positions from 250 to 259. Coincidentally, in terms of letters covered, it has the third shortest length. This Syna covers 10 letters, the total of which is 413 = 7 x 59. SF: 66 = 2 x 3 x 11. SF: 16 = 24. Two levels of factors point to China.

New Tyre
All the numeric features so far are based on the text of Isaiah chapters 18 through to 23. However, only chapter 18 and the last two verses of chapter 23 really pertain to China. The rest are prophecies of other nations. Do numeric features disappear when this middle section is taken out? They do not. Chapter 18, and 23:17-18 can stand all on their own. The numeric studies of Isaiah 18 (China) and Isaiah 23:17-18 (New Tyre/China) are now joined as one passage. Isaiah chapters 19 to 23:16 are prophecies of nations in the Middle East near Palestine and are left out. China is far away from Palestine. Geographically, this is China being far, and the Middle East being near. Textually this is China at the beginning and end of the longer passage. Numerically, this is China first and last as complementary opposites.

Counting exclusively, this is 331 + 2022, with the beginning year 332 not included. 2353 = 13 x 181. Thirteen is related to the numeric value of God’s name in Hebrew. It represents imperial sovereignty. Thus the period from the fall of Tyre to Queen Elizabeth II's death could be considered a part of prophecy, a

Choosing What Does Not Work
9Choosing to combine passages already divisible by seven (Isaiah 18, Isaiah 19, Isaiah 20-23, and Isaiah 23:17-18) naturally guarantees the result would be divisible by 7. Skeptics call these manufactured coincidences. But what about deliberately choosing something that would not work?
Isaiah 18's total of 27426 is divisible by 7. Isaiah 23's total is 55547, a prime number, and not divisible by 7 and or 13. Putting these two together would ruin everything in terms of numeric features divisible by 7 and or 13. Since these pages have claimed these prophecies are about China, chapter 18 and 23 are put together. The two chapters together would be 82973 = 11 x 19 x 397. Once again 11 and 19, the factors related to China appear.
The sum of the factors alternates between totals divisible by 7 and totals not divisible by 7: 427 = 7 x 61. SF: 68 = 22 x 17. SF: 21 = 3 x 7. SF: 10 = 2 x 5. SF: 7.
Eleven is greater than seven, and nineteen is greater than thirteen. For a total to be divisible by 11 and 19 is a one in 209 chance. This is at least three times as difficult as obtaining a number divisible by 7 and 13. In choosing two passages that would not be divisible by 7 or 13, the end result achieves something rarer pointing to China.

Is this a bad
result linking with the number of the beast? 666 factors as 2 x 32 x 37. The sum of the factors is 45. The factors of 45 are 32 x 5, and these last factors total 11. This might be a link to China, but it is tenuous at best. One has to go three levels of factors to reach this link. Here, 6666 factors as 2 x 3 x 11 x 101, with 11 right at the beginning. The sum of the factors is 117, which is divisible by 13. The factors of 117 add up to 19, the other factor associated with 中國's total of 3344. 9.7In feature 9.3.5, the product of the common factors, 209, divided the words into two sections. Applying the same principle to the letters, every 209th letter would divide the passage into seven sections, with the last section having only 44 letters. Of these seven sections, three have totals divisible by 11. The odds would have suggested only one being divisible by 11.
Deliberately choosing two passages that would not be divisible by 7 and 13 still manages to have numeric features divisible by 7 and 13. Surprisingly, the factors 11 and 19 become more visible. The end result focuses even more on China than before!
Conclusion
Prophecy must be fulfilled. Thus Isaiah 18, and Isaiah 23:17-18 are prophecies waiting to be fulfilled, or in the process of being fulfilled. The decline of the Western powers, and the death of Queen Elizabeth point to Isaiah 18:5-6 as being in the process of fulfillment in our time. And in our time, Tyre is not an economic maritime power. This points to a different Tyre. At this point, China fits the prophecy best.4
But there are also other prophecies to consider (Isaiah chapters 19-22). God ensures the land that birthed Abraham (Assyria), and the land that hosted Israel for four hundred years (Egypt) will acknowledge Him along with Israel in the end (Isaiah 19:24-25; 28:21). Nations that do not acknowledge God will fail and vanish from history. The religious and political order of Judah and Israel will be replaced, just as Tyre is replaced by a new Tyre (China).
These chapters in Isaiah stand very well together giving a picture of what our world will be like in the future. The numeric features show this is all God’s plan.
