The Stone That Destroys The Kingdoms Of Men

God will destroy the Western powers that are descended from Rome. This was Daniel's interpretation of the glorious and frightening statue in Nebuchadnezzar's dream. (Daniel 2:36-45) As one of the rare prophecies given to a non-believer and Gentile, it holds special importance concerning the end of our age.

Like the other prophecies in this section, this one also came with the proof of a miracle. Nebuchadnezzar demanded the wise men of Babylon tell him his dream, and then he would know they had the proper interpretation. Only Daniel was able to do this. This minor miracle guarantees the authenticity and the inevitability of this prophecy. It will happen.

Even though this prophecy has not yet been fulfilled, the Bible already gives the end result in Revelation 19:11-21. The Anti-Christ and his allies gather at Armageddon to fight the commander of heaven's armies. They are completely defeated.

The numbers select the important portions of each prophecy: Daniel 2:16-35 and Revelation 19:11-17. Daniel's interpretation of the dream is left out, as are the actual verses describing the Anti-Christ's defeat after the angelic command calling upon the birds of the air to feast on the dead. It is clear the stone not cut by human hands is the commander of heaven's armies that shatters the image so that not a shard of it is left. (If anyone wants to know the rest of Daniel's interpretation, or of the events of Armageddon, they only need read the rest of the verses. The numbers are very economical.)

16 And Daniel went in and besought the king to appoint him a time, that he might show to the king the interpretation. 17 Then Daniel went to his house and made the matter known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions, 18 and told them to seek mercy of the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19 Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. 20 Daniel said: "Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever. to whom belong wisdom and might. 21 He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; 22 he reveals deep and mysterious things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him. 23 To thee, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for thou hast given me wisdom and strength, and hast now made known to me what we asked of thee, for thou hast made known to us the king's matter." 24 Therefore Daniel went in to Arioch, whom the king had appointed to destroy the wise men of Babylon; he went and said thus to him, "Do not destroy the wise men of Babylon; bring me in before the king, and I will show the king the interpretation." 25 Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus to him: "I have found among the exiles from Judah a man who can make known to the king the interpretation." 26 The king said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, "Are you able to make known to me the dream that I have seen and its interpretation?" 27 Daniel answered the king, "No wise men, enchanters, magicians, or astrologers can show to the king the mystery which the king has asked, 28 but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream and the visions of your head as you lay in bed are these: 29 To you, O king, as you lay in bed came thoughts of what would be hereafter, and he who reveals mysteries made known to you what is to be. 30 But as for me, not because of any wisdom that I have more than all the living has this mystery been revealed to me, but in order that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your mind. 31 "You saw, O king, and behold, a great image. This image, mighty and of exceeding brightness, stood before you, and its appearance was frightening. 32 The head of this image was of fine gold, its breast and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. 34 As you looked, a stone was cut out by no human hand, and it smote the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces; 35 then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. (Daniel 2:16-35)¹

Only the category for verses that are purely odd (position and value) is a multiple of 7 (twice) and 13. One of the mixed categories (odd position and even value) is also a multiple of 7. While the other mixed category (even position and odd value) has no numeric feature on its own, it does have a feature when paired with its opposite mixed category: 39260 = 2² x 5 x 13 x 151. 1.8Odd and even is one complementary opposite. Another complementary opposite concerns prime numbers and non-prime numbers. Only one verse has a total that is a prime number. Providentially, it is the 23rd verse, and 23 is the number of a human being. The verse total is 3079. (If one were looking for a coincidence, one would look at the 3079th Chinese character in Big5: ? [pu3]. This character is also a surname, which seems appropriate since the commander of Heaven's armies has an unknown name. What was not so obvious in that feature becomes clearer when everything is viewed in three dimensions. The total of the second dimension coordinates of these letters that are divisible by 7: 973 = 7 x 139. The total of the third dimension coordinates of these letters: 2177 = 7 x 311. Only the first dimension coordinates do not add up to any numeric feature. But with three of four totals divisible by 7, this already breaks the odds.

7.13.7.1Aside from letters that are multiples of 7, the only other letter value with significance would be the letter 1, because there is one God. The letter 1 is also strategically positioned in the three dimensions. In this case, only the first dimension has a total that is divisible by 7: 476 = 2² x 7 x 17. SF: 28 = 2² x 7. (Only the first dimension yields a feature because there is only one God.)

7.13.7.2The opposite of letter 1 would be letter 600 (the highest value). There are exactly 13 occurrences in the entire passage. For letter 600, the total of the coordinates in the first dimension: 28 (2² x 7). The total of the coordinates in the second dimension: 117 (3² x 13).

7.13.8The total of the first dimension coordinates for three letters is a multiple of 13.

Conclusion

From every other verse, to every other word, to every other letter, the combined passages exhibit incredible order. Then there are the first and last letters together, and the first and last letters separately on their own. The numbers show Nebuchadnezzar's dream is fulfilled by the commander of heaven's armies. And the numbers assure us, even as the miracle of Daniel being able to see Nebuchadnezzar's dream assures us, the prophecy is true and will happen.

According to Daniel's interpretation of the dream, in the days of the kings represented by the ten toes of iron and clay, a stone not cut by human hands (i.e. made by God), will destroy the kingdoms of men that were descended from the legs of iron. As the bottom part of the legs represent the empire of Rome, so the feet and toes represent the descendants of that empire. These are the European nations, and the United States. They will be destroyed.

The stone grows to fill the entire earth. God’s kingdom does not take over everything in an instant. It grows. Humanity is given a choice to see how God’s kingdom works, and given a chance to realize it is the one and only best way. Those who decide to submit to God’s rule will prosper. Those who refuse will be punished. (Zechariah 14:17)
