John 1:1 In Hebrew
Translating John 1:1 into Hebrew and following the Greek text as accurately as possible produces numeric features, while interpreting from the theory of the Trinity does not. The theory of the Trinity changes the understanding of the text and produces inferior translations
. In this case, when the understanding is correct and the text accurately followed, numeric features appear.
Here is the original Greek text.

Godis capitalized for θεον because it is preceded by the definite article τον. θεον and τον both end with the same letter, indicating that the two go together. The second occurrence of the word godis spelled θεος, and has no definite article. This is why the English is not capitalized. |
Here is John 1:1 interpreted into Hebrew. It is not a translation because whoever did it replaced the singular θεον (God) with the plural אלהים (gods).

The common Western Christian understanding of אלהים is that it can be singular and plural. However, θεον for God is not understood as singular and plural at the same time, thus it would be inaccurate to translate it as אלהים.
These two Hebrew words standing together, את האלהים, are extremely rare in the Old Testament, occurring only 7 times. (Joshua 24:14, 24:15; Psalm 14:2, 53:3, 78:56; Jeremiah 16:13, and Hosea 12:4) את is usually not translated into English. It is the sign that the next word is the definite direct object. It could be translated as the
, but the next word האלהים is Ha-Elohim
which already has a definite article. It's not that the interpretation is wrong, but that it is extremely uncommon in relation to the Old Testament.
The bias for the Trinity is very clear with this interpretation. The Word
was the Gods
and the Gods
were the Word.
It does not reflect the actual Greek.
Here is a slightly different interpretation.

The use of the Hebrew עם to denote with/from
is an improvement to match the Greek προς, but אלוקים now lacks the definite article equivalent of τον θεον. And once again the Trinity bias is clear with the ending.
The wordpress.org version has a numeric total of 2196 (22 x 32 x 61), and the biblehub.com version has a total of 2102 (2 x 1051). Neither are divisible by 7 and or 13. The biblehub.com has the sum of the factors divisible by 13: 2 + 1051 = 1053 = 34 x 13.

It would only be fair to point out that the original Greek has a total of 2369 (23 x 103). This is also not divisible by 7 and or 13. However, the sum of the factors is 126 (2 x 32 x 7).
Most Christians are completely unaware that these recent interpretations of John 1:1 into Hebrew break and stand against almost two thousand years of tradition! Beginning with the Septuagint, around 255 B.C., the Hebrew plural forms of God, אלוקים and אלהיך were replaced with the singular θεος in Greek. This was accepted and continued by the Apostles and writers of the New Testament. The few times the Greek plural θεοι (theoi; gods) occurs in the Septuagint and New Testament all refer to foreign deities. Thus the very concept of the Trinity is against the history of the faithful.
Watch what happens when a Hebrew translation is made following the Greek.

Having the Hebrew parallel the Greek as closely as possible emphasizes the purpose of the definite article. The God
is distinguished from a god.
The two are not the same and it would be wrong to confuse the two.
Rather than use אלוקים (Elohim) which today is considered singular and plural, the exclusively singular אל (El) is used. The definite article ה is placed with the first occurrence forming האל to match the God
in the Greek τον θεον. (See Genesis 31:13.)
Perhaps the most difficult word to translate is the Greek word προς.
Strong's Exhaustive Concordance gives this definition:

The Greek word προ (4253) has these meanings:

There are two Hebrew words with the basic meaning of towards
or to
: אֶל and מוּל. They can also stand together as אֶל־מוּל with the same meaning.2 When the two are used together in John 1:1, the Hebrew phrase in table A is divisible by 7.

AThere are 11 words, 39 letters (3 x 13), and the total is 1792 (28 x 7). [N.B. The sum of the factors is 23. The Word, Jesus, came as a man.]
A.1The total of the first and last letters of each word (85, 1135) come to 1220. This is not divisible by 7 and or 13, but the sum of the factors is a surprise:
1220 = 22 x 5 x 61. SF: 70 = 2 x 5 x 7. SF: 14 = 2 x 7.
A.1.1The same thing happens with the positions of these letters (223, 251). The total: 474 = 2 x 3 x 79. SF: 84 = 22 x 3 x 7. SF: 14 = 2 x 7.
Jesus claimed Alpha and Omega along with First and Last in Revelation 22:13, but when the actual Greek is checked, he never said I am the Alpha and the Omega.
There is no Greek verb ειμι (am) in the verse. Most importantly, Jesus never said he is, was, and is to come
and he never said he was the Almighty
(Revelation 1:8). Thus numeric features for the first and last letters of each word appear in the next level of factors, but not immediately.
A.1.2The difference between God and The Word (Jesus) can be seen when the difference is taken between the values of the first and last letters of each word: 1135 − 85 = 1050 (2 x 3 x 52 x 7).
A.1.3These even occurs with the positions: 251 − 223 = 28 (22 x 7).
Compare this with The Proclamation where the first and last letters of each word are together and individually divisible by 7, and where every other letter is divisible by 7. This numerically demonstrates Jesus is not God. There is no Trinity.
A.1.4Letters that are not first or last in a word also demonstrate the same thing. The total 572 (22 x 11 x 13. SF: 28 = 22 x 7) is divisible by 13. But these are not the Alpha and Omega of each word. Thus even though Jesus said he was Alpha and Omega, it is not the same as God.
A.2The letters could be placed in 13 groups of 3. Each group is added up. Gather all groups where the total is an odd number.

The Hebrew translation above was achieved by following the Greek as exactly as possible. Below is a translation with an interpretation.
Since words are spoken, the understanding is that God spoke The Word into being. Once in existence, the word turned to face God. This interpretation replaces the Greek word προς, with the Hebrew word פנה (to turn).

BThe numeric total of this interpretation: 1820 (22 x 5 x 7 x 13). Instantly there are factors of 7 and 13. This is a one in ninety-one chance.
Why didn't the original Greek have a numeric total divisible by 7 and or 13? Why was the 7 hidden in the next level, in the sum of the factors? Perhaps God arranged it this way because He knew people would argue over John 1:1 when it came to the Trinity. Those supporting erroneous doctrine would produce interpreted translations that would not have any immediate numeric features. And any honest person who checked with the original Greek would see such interpretations diverging from the actual text. Those who held to the original meaning of the scriptures would produce more accurate translations with the greater likelihood of having numeric features.
(The very fact that the original Greek had the sum of its factors as a multiple of 7, and not its numeric total, could be considered a hint to look at the next level in language, i.e. translations. This can be seen in the inadvertently anti-Trinity translation of John 1:1 in the Chinese Union Version which has numeric features.)
The total is not the only numeric feature for this interpretation.
B.1Three words have totals that are prime numbers. They just happen to be the 3rd, 8th and 10th words.

The sum of the positions: 21 = 3 x 7.
The sum of the words: 459 = 33 x 17. SF: 26 = 2 x 13.
This means the remaining seven words are not prime numbers. Their positions and total have no feature, but there are 7 of them.
B.2The highest valued word is the first word with a total of 913. This value appeared only once. Three words have the value 20, which is the lowest value. Thus the highest and lowest values (913 + 20 x 3) equal 973 (7 x 139).
B.3Now examine the letters. The place values of all the letters of the verse: 308 = 22 x 7 x 11.
B.4The first and last letters of each word: 1204 = 22 x 7 x 43. Here we see why Jesus also claimed to be Alpha and Omega, and First and Last. (Revelation 22:13) But one thing Jesus does not claim is Revelation 1:8's is, was, and is to come.
Every other word, and every other letter from this translation do not yield totals divisible by seven.
B.4.1Letters that are not first or last in a word: 616 = 23 x 7 x 11.
B.4.2The positions of the letters that are not first or last: 294 = 2 x 3 x 72.
With a translation that is not as exact, it is now possible to have the first and last letters of each word coming to a total divisible by 7. Once again this demonstrates the difference between The Word, and God.
B.5Divide the letters into four groups.
Odd valued letters in odd positions: 42 = 2 x 3 x 7. Odd valued letters in even positions: 502 = 2 x 251. Even valued letters in odd positions: 16 = 24. Even valued letters in even positions: 1260 = 22 x 32 x 5 x 7.
B.5.1Letters that are purely odd or purely even (value and position):
1302 = 2 x 3 x 7 x 31.
B.5.2Letters that are mixed (odd in value but even in position or vice versa):
518 = 2 x 7 x 37.
B.5.3The difference between what is pure and what is mixed produces an extra seven: 784 = 24 x 72.

B.7Since Jesus said he was first and last, and since the first and last letters of each word together were divisible by 7, a symmetrically positioned group of letters is also together and individually divisible by seven. (There is only one such group as there is only one God, and only one Jesus.)
The two groups each consist of 5 letters. The first group ranges from the 11th to the 15th letters (positions counted from the beginning of the verse). The second group ranges from the 23rd to the 27th letters, which are the 11th to 15th letters if counted from the end of the verse.

(N.B. Applying this interpretation of John 1:1 to The Proclamation does not produce anything. This is because it is God who spoke The Word, not the other way around.)
Was all this coincidence? Perhaps the author was just lucky in finding Hebrew words to stick in that would work.
Confirmation In English
The English version is almost exactly like the interlinear provided for the original Greek at the beginning of this article. The only differences are inserting a definite article before the word beginning
to have a more proper English sense, replacing the word towards
with the word nearing
, and making it clear that The Word is a god
and not the God.

Support From The Chinese
The Protestants who translated the Bible into Chinese chose the character 道 (Dao; the Way) for the Greek λογος (Logos; Word), even though they knew it was inaccurate. They wanted to tie John 1:1 to the first stanza of the Dao De Jing where the 道 (Dao) was the beginning of heaven and earth, and superior to the 名 (Meng; name) which only gave birth to all things. This was an effort to impose the Trinity on to Chinese thought. What it did was mix up and destroy the parallels between John 1:1 and the first stanza of the Dao De Jing where 道 stands in for 上帝, the nameless Supreme God in Chinese, and 名 is λογος, the Word through which everything was born (John 1:3).
The Chinese Union Version (CUV) of the Bible is now over a century old. Chinese believers have long accepted the mix up of 道 standing in for λογος as part of the Trinity. Despite this, the very curious part is that the Chinese language supports a very accurate translation of John 1:1 which is anti-Trinity.
The table below has an almost word for word translation from Greek to Chinese.3 Since the Protestants insist that 道 be used for λογος, that is what is used here. Every Greek definite article is translated with the closest approximate in Chinese 這 (this). Even the Greek και (and) is given a Chinese equivalent 也. The proper Chinese term for the one Supreme God, 上帝, stands in for τον θεον (the God). Only the ending requires a re-arrangement from the Greek to bring out the emphasis on a god
was the Word in Chinese. 就是 is emphatic. 這道 (this Dao) 就是 (emphatically is) 神 (a god). [The Chinese word 神 denotes lesser deities, vastly inferior to the Supreme God 上帝.]

There are only 13 characters in the CUV. Many Greek words were dropped relying on the context and sense of the Chinese characters themselves. This only works if the person has a Christian or Western mindset to begin with.

In the CUV, either the Supreme God 上帝 is equated with lesser deities or completely missing. The CUV of John 1:1 has numeric features because the true meaning of the characters leaves the Supreme God completely out of the picture. It really isn't a translation at all but an interpretation to try put the Trinity into the Chinese version of John 1:1. It has numeric features because God is left out, and The Word is a lesser god 神. This is in reality anti-Trinity.
The careful reader will notice two empty spaces just before the two occurrences of the character 神 in the CUV. These spaces were meant to alert the reader that 神 refers to 上帝. The empty space was to indicate there really was supposed to be a different term in use. But the translators just couldn't bring themselves to use the proper term 上帝 because it was singular. They wanted 神 because it could be singular and plural and match their idea of the Trinity.
Why was the CUV translated this way? The Hebrew version of John 1:1 explains it. אלהים (Elohim) was chosen because it was considered singular and plural for the translators at that time. Chinese characters have no singular and plural forms. 神 (god/s) can be singular or plural depending on the context. As there was no other word for god(s)
in Chinese, 神 was chosen to push the Trinity. 上帝 (The Supreme God) was not chosen because the term is one of the few to be exclusively singular. But in John 1:1 this just equated The Word, Jesus, with inferior deities.
On the other hand, the word for word translation is something else entirely. It is clearly anti-Trinity specifically stating that The Word is a god, and not the Supreme God. Since there are no letters in Chinese, there are no features with the first and last letters of each word. However, the Chinese text has complementary opposites, a type of Alpha and Omega. It has balanced numeric features like Yin and Yang. (Click for the conversion of Chinese characters to numbers.)

Chinese characters having numeric features is one thing. Their radicals having numeric features is something else. The fact that the entire Chinese language vocabulary is less than 50,000 characters, compared with English with over a million, means there is less choice to make things work. This stretches beyond coincidence.
Including The Preposition In
& Specifying Tense
The above translation into Chinese still lacks two aspects of the Greek text, the preposition In
for In the beginning
and the imperfect tense. Although both could be implied, they are not clearly stated. A reader who was unfamiliar with Christianity might come to a different understanding. This is especially true with the use of 道 (the Way) for The Word.
The table below amends some of these deficiencies. With some vocabulary changes, a literal translation with numeric features can still be constructed. The Catholic term 聖言 (Holy/Sacred Word) is used in place of 道. It is a more accurate reflection of the Greek ο λογος (The Word) even though there is no word for holy in the text.

E.8.1At the 16th character position, the cumulative total is 31094 = 2 x 7 x 2221. It is the fifth time the cumulative total is divisible by 7, and it just so happens to be 上, the first character of 上帝, the title for God.

Conclusion
The original Greek text of John 1:1 had no numeric total divisible by 7 and or 13. Translating into Hebrew, and English by following the Greek as closely as possible minimized alternative word choices severely and thus did not require any aid from a computer. It was as if there were only one or two choices. Character choices for the Chinese translations came to 2,228,000 combinations, and this required a computer. This was much less than for previous experiments. Astonishingly, the Hebrew and English phrases produced numeric features almost with no editing. The Chinese translations produced numeric features that were highly organized. The closer the translation was to the Greek, the fewer the number of tries necessary to find something. How is it possible that three language versions faithful to the Greek could easily be constructed and have numeric features? It was possible by not holding to the Trinity. One can only conclude it was meant to be this way.

The Greek Ἐν αρχη (In the beginning) is specific with the prepositionἘν
meaning inside the beginning. The sense can be inferred with the Chinese characters 起初, but it is not literally stated. The Greek definite article with the word for God τον θεον specifiesThe God.
The Chinese 上帝 is a unique title reserved for the one and only nameless Supreme God and requires no definite article or specifier like 這道 (this Dao) standing in forThe Word.
The translation is almost word for word, but not quite due to language differences.
The Greek Ἐν αρχη (In the beginning) means The Word was not before or after the beginning, but within the beginning. How close was The Word to the very beginning of the beginning, or how far into the beginning was The Word is unstated. The Greek is clear The Word had an origin. This agrees with Isaiah 45:23 and Isaiah 55:11. Words are spoken. It is God who speaks The Word, and thus The Word has a beginning but no end.
As there is no definite article with αρχη (beginning) one can only assume this isa beginning
not the beginning. The only true beginning has to be God, but since God has no beginning (Psalm 90:2), this explains why John 1:1 reads Ἐν αρχη with no definite article:a beginning
